The only time someone answered the phone they immediately put me on hold. After waiting for 11 more minutes no one ever picked up my call so I hung up and tried calling again. No one answered my last call. I cannot believe someone can operate a business in this manner. My next step is to call my insurance company and see if there are any other sleep study providers I can be referred to. I can honestly say this is my worst experience ever in just trying to set up my initial appointment with any type of vendor medical or non medical!!!

Despite my condition continuing to worsen, I repeatedly asked for additional testing, including blood work and further evaluation, but was told blood work is "not typically done in neurology." No extensive testing was ever performed, and I felt my concerns were consistently dismissed. I also felt that appointments focused more on teaching medical students than on providing me with the care and attention I desperately needed. Seeing pharmaceutical representatives frequently coming into the office also left me questioning where the priorities were. I walked away feeling ignored, unheard, and frightened that my worsening condition was not being taken seriously. My experience left me with little confidence in the level of care I received, and I would not trust this physician with my neurological care. Patients deserve to be listened to, thoroughly evaluated, and treated with urgency when experiencing repeated seizures. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

So I had a seat as the sign said. Another guy, younger and in better shape came in, sat right down for a second. The old lady came right to the window, looked at me then looked right at him and told him to step up to the window and she would help him. She was fawning all over him. She took him to his room right away all nice and such. She came back at me with a disgusted look (mind you we haven't spoken yet) and just said "ID and insurance". She was just borderline rude the entire time. She took me to a room I specially requested not to have when I made my appointment. My Sleep Doctor specifically stated I needed a room with the night stand on the opposite side of where this room had it because of my sleep habits. I told them this when I made the appointment. When I shared this with the old lady, just just stormed out and proceeded loudly to talk bad about me to my tech. She is just so rude. This is my third sleep study here. My second one was a failure for two reasons according to my doctor: 1) the position of my sleep due to the cables etc being on a side I couldn't roll to when I was sleeping and therefore on my back all night long. 2) they rushed through the titration and didn't obtain a good one. She said they should have taken a lot more time. So here I am again, ready for another failure. My last report took months for them to get it to my primary. I hope they don't take that long this time. Cannot recommend.

She might not cater to all the nonsense, but she will tell you the way it is and what you need to do to get better. When I had stage four cancer, she was the person that diagnosed it and got me the best care that I could received. I am still here and they gave me a 20 to 25% chance of survival. I attribute my life to her diagnosing it and seeing it before it got worse than it was. So if you want nonsense care, I'll highly recommend Dr. Schwartz

After providing my insurance information, they scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, I was seen by a nurse practitioner instead of a doctor. She asked basic questions but when I asked if she had reviewed my medical records, she said yes--then admitted she hadn't actually looked at them. That was my first red flag. She ordered two studies and suggested it might be asthma, then sent me on my way. When I went to schedule the tests, they gave me two separate appointments. I asked why everything couldn't be done in one visit, and I was told it was "for insurance purposes." It felt very misleading, and I later realized this likely meant they were trying to bill my insurance twice instead of once. That was enough for me to decide not to return. Fast forward to this week--I started receiving a bill for a "no-show fee." I had canceled the appointments when they called to confirm, yet I'm still being charged. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and financially driven rather than patient-focused. I would not recommend this office.

I was read my results over the phone and told my results would be sent and after days of calling multiple times to get my results, they finally sent them. If you call, good luck getting ahold of anyone there because that's another issue with this place. I've left messages with zero call backs and if by the slim chance you actually get ahold of someone, you're put in hold for at least 15+ minutes. They use pressure tactics to get you to automatically do the over night stay since that's more money they can bill versus the home study. I repeatedly said I wanted the home study and they kept trying to pressure me to the over night study instead. I can see the truth in other peoples reviews claiming similar interactions. The care I will say is subpar because it's all about how much they can bill insurance and what works better for them and not the patient care. Do yourself a favor and avoid Sleep Center of Nevada and find a QUALITY sleep doctor!
