Getting Sarah to do our engagement and wedding photos is by far, one of the best decisions my now-husband and I have made for our wedding! Going in, my then-fiance and I knew we definitely wanted to stay away from wedding photos that felt too posed/stiff/staged. We also wanted to not just showcase ourselves, but our wedding venue (Aquarium of the Pacific) and the locations of our engagement photos, since they held significant sentimental value for both of us. Sarah's assistants were awesome and maintained a balanced approach to their work; more specifically they kept the mood light, and fun, but made sure they were capturing everything that needed to be captured A couple of key things we definitely appreciated was that through the commotion and constant movement of people, Sarah was able to respectfully maneuver and adjust our friends and family to get the shots she wanted. Also, our wedding was multi-cultural (my wife is Vietnamese and I am Indian), and we featured both part cultures throughout the wedding. Sarah understood that his was an important aspect for us, and captured the details of each culture beautifully. Pricing wise, we found Sarah to offer packages as competitive as any wedding focused photography business in the OC area. We used Sarah for family photos and they turned out great! She produces high quality photos and my family and I loved each one of them! Her turnaround times were faster than she said they would be which I loved! She was also great during the photo session and guided us on poses that would make us look great in our photos while also able to accommodate my mom with an injured knee and my 17 month old (who started to get fussy towards the end, but you would never even know that based on the photos). Sarah is amazing and very talented! We booked a family photo session with Sarah in Laguna Beach. The weather was uncooperative and so was our baby but she made the most out of poor weather conditions and fussy baby and was still able to take beautiful photos of us and capture those precious moments. We love that Sarah is flexible and adaptive to unpredictable situations and is still able to produce beautiful photos. I would definitely hire her again and recommend her to family and friends.
