I wish Health Care were like this to everyone....
    Anita W.

I first came to Sarana because it is open on Sundays. From time to time, I was helped by different practitioners, and felt positive effects from other treatments (massage and cupping). Appointments are easily made online, and cancellations are simple if done 24 hours ahead of time. The clinic is very calm, unpretentious, and trustworthy. If there are no volunteers at the front desk, patients leave the payment or donation in a box. Also, I like how environmentally conscious the doctors and staff are, and their attitude of making acupuncture affordable and a strong community building tool.

Throbbing in heels due to diabetic neuropathy? Could acupuncture address this issue?

Hi Cheri - yes it is possible for acupuncture to be helpful with this. As this is a chronic issue, most benefit will likely be derived from regular longer-term treatments. If you have never had acupuncture, the first step would be to try it and see… Read more

The studio is a very calming place to walk into, and Deanna was very warm and put me at ease. I really appreciate the calmness there, and always looked forward to my sessions. She was extremely knowledgable and competent in forging a plan for me to help in each stage of the IVF process. I felt in very safe hands, and though I don't really know how the magic of acupuncture works, it made all the difference for me. I got pregnant, and have had a very comfortable, mobile, sane, easy experience that I am so grateful to have had given the high risks of my pregnancy. I am now a week away from delivering my baby, and would recommend Tao to anyone struggling with health or fertility issues.

The approach to talking about my injury was "accessible" to my "western medicine" upbringing. And most importantly: my third visit was like turning the switch off for my pain. I probably had a pinched nerve in my neck, but due to delays seeing a pain specialist through my primary care, I was trying anything. I ultimately was seeing a "western medicine" doctor and Tao to Wellness at the same time. But the timing of my pain shutting off is strongly suggestive that acupuncture played a big part in shortening the duration (which my "western medicine" pain specialist had suggested would be possible). Deanna was my acupuncturist.

They are a healer that's very passionate about the various modalities of Chinese medicine including acupuncture. In fact, our first session was mostly a qigong session. I had to experience it to believe that I could actually feel them moving qi against me without actually physically touching me, and afterwards I was able to confirm that what I sensed (eyes closed) was what they were doing. It was totally wild. Besides their skills and knowledge, Tank is just such a good listener. I love the first part of our sessions because they really ask good questions and are completely present for the conversation. I can tell they really want to know the whole context to help a person. One thing that Tank is especially good at is being sensitive to sensitive people. I get cold easily and am sensitive to noise, and every time they get the ultra-crinkly mylar blanket to warm me up (it's very light so it doesn't disturb the needles, but also super noisy), they put it on me with exquisite care to ensure the noise isn't detracting from the experience. That is just how they do things - with exquisite care. Highly recommend going to see Tank for holistic care through the lens of Chinese medicine!

Tank really listens to you and answers questions holistically, giving great advice on how to remedy via sleep, diet, or other everyday means in a very approachable manner. It had been many years since I came to Living Tree, but tank was just as warm and welcoming. This time, I came in for some acid reflux/ food poisoning symptoms that had been persisting daily for me for over a month. I felt like I had a lump in my throat and didn't have an appetite. 2 days after treatment here, the lump feeling was finally gone and I gained an appetite again! I came for another follow up treatment to continue healing, and felt so much better after that as well. The treatment overall is very relaxing and I love that it actually truly helps my healing. Thank you tank!
