When I discuss abnormal results with her, she always takes the time to educate me about the results, and she formulates a plan with me for moving forward. I had to go the hospital for an endocrine problem. She called me and the physicians on my care team while I was there. She truly cares about her patients. I cannot imagine going to another doctor. I feel so blessed that I found her in the vast sea of doctors out there. She checks every box in what I consider to be a good doctor. I see people complain about waiting a few minutes for their appointments in these reviews. But this type of employee treatment from an Amazon owned company is not surprising. If you have medical insurance do not use them because they will bill you $199 per year and then you STILL have to pay your insurance co-pay whenever you see them. This makes no sense, as patients are being double billed and they are receiving double profits and no telling how much insurance is reimbursing them. Additionally, I paid my "co-pay"online and then received notification that I needed to pay my bill. So I called them and they said the payment didn't go through. So I asked what that meant. I know my card was not declined because my American Express card has no limit. Apparently, their payment system had a glitch, I guess. When I looked at my receipt closely, it said $0 was processed. Who sends a receipt for zero dollars? Insane. If you must use them, tell them you don't have health insurance. Also google NPR regarding their article of one medical putting profits over patients.

Like any new doctor-patient relationship, it took a few visits to get to know each other. What stood out to me early on is how thorough she is. She asks thoughtful questions, listens carefully, and genuinely works to understand what's going on rather than rushing to conclusions. Is she perfect? No, she is human, but she's about as close to perfect as it gets. She's knowledgeable, practical, and very direct in the best way. She doesn't sugarcoat things, and I appreciate that. If I could be doing better, whether it's exercise or diet, she'll tell me honestly, not to criticize, but because she truly wants me to be healthy and live well. My lab results are usually available the same day or shortly after through the Sharp app, and she always takes the time at my appointment to review them with me and make sure I understand what they mean.
