After a small crack grew to over a foot, we went through our insurance and they gave me a few options of Auto Glass repair. One never called back and the other was a 2 week wait. Decided to do my own research and chose Sarasota Auto Glass. Within a day, Matt got the part in and came to our house and changed it right in our garage. He came during the time he promised, was very knowledgable and did a great job replacing it. Matt was even able to save our gate window pass. I would highly recommend Matt and Sarasota Auto Glass. I had the rearview mirror come off of my windshield and had booked an appointment with another outfit which couldn't take me for over a week. Read the reviews of Sarasota Auto Glass and liked what I read so I gave them a call. They took me the next day after the call and fixed the mirror in less than 30 minutes at a great price! Matt was easy to talk to and quite proficient and informative, as he told me the mirror had been repaired in the past. The mirror is back on the windshield and looks as good as new. This is a small family business and they did a fantastic job with my windshield. A rock had put a ding in it and Matt said he "was 70% sure he could fix it (patch it) without having to replace the whole thing''. Sure enough, 40 minutes and $53 later, my windshield is looking great and fixed just about perfectly (there's a tiny blemish still there that couldn't be completely removed). When I asked him what I should do if it started to spider again, he promptly stated, "I'll give you your money back, no questions asked." It may take him a little while to return your phone call, because he's pretty much running the show, but I was super impressed with the work, the price and the guarantee. Other huge companies may be "easier", but you won't get a more fair price or better workmanship than at Sarasota Auto Glass. read more

Had them replace the front windshield on my ford F 150 and they did a very good job. They ordered the ford brand window and kept in communication with me, and 4 days later job was done. During the install they told me what they were doing and pointed out areas on the frame where the sealant at the factory was incomplete and they fixed it! I contacted Sarasota Auto Glass, via my insurance company, when the windshield of my 2016 Honda Civic got cracked by a flying rock. If I could give them negative stars I would. Sarasota Auto Glass failed miserably in replacing glass in a sliding window on our motorhome. They were contracted to do the work originally under an insurance claim and the cost was to be $300 and they would come to our house to do the work. When I mentioned this to Matt (the Owner) he said he would have to charge an extra $150 to do the job at our house. I declined the extra cost as we had changed this from an insurance claim to paying out of pocket to avoid having our insurance rates increased. We set the appointment for a Monday, which was two weeks in advance, and when I arrived (15 minutes early) there was no one there. I waited for over two hours and when he still didn't arrive OR call me to explain the delay I left. He later called saying he was returning my call and offered no explanation. When I mentioned that I had waited over two hours he sarcastically said "I've been on the side of the road with 2 flat tires. What do you expect me to do?" He said that I would need to bring it back to have the work done and I mentioned that at that point he should plan on coming to our house to do the work. With that he said he would have to charge an extra $1000 to do it at our house. When I reminded him of our previous conversation for an extra $150 he claimed that he never said that. I asked him how long it would take he said 2 or 3 days. I asked why so long and said because he would "have to work it in and do other things at the same time." Then he told me that he would have the glass provider (Duncan RV Systems) come to pick up the window and that he no longer wanted the job and hung up on me. Since the motorhome would have to sit outside for that long with no window there was no way to protect against rain or vandalism since he no longer had an enclosed are or secure lot to work in. I then made arrangements to take the motorhome to Duncan RV Systems in Lakeland which provided the window. They were EXTREMELY professional and had the same 3 day job, as Matt stated, done in 2 hours at a cost of $300. They also had a clean secured area to do the job if in the event of rain doing the install. My advice to anyone thinking about using Sarasota Auto Glass - DON'T. There are other better options. read more

We were hit by an object on the Interstate and didn't want to wait. Saw that Sarasota Auto Glass had great reviews on Yelp and drove right over. Excellent service at a fair price. I got a strong sense of both competence and honesty, not an automatic thing elsewhere, based on the reviews I read online. Their location is close to downtown Sarasota, so i walked to the movie theater, watched one, and returned maybe 3 hours later, picked up the car and was done. They also do on site calls, but their location was quite convenient for me. I hope I never have this need again, but if I do, I will go here as a repeat customer. read more
