Awesome place. I am from Virginia and asked Bourbon Nation on Facebook on what spot I needed to go in Sarasota. A few people told me to go here - DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I was greeted when I came in and looked around and asked if they had store picks - he came over and gave me the lowdown on each one. Then proceeded to give me a sip of different ones I was looking at. No pressure to buy at all. I walked out with three great bottles including their rye (which was amazing!). I am moving down in June and this will definitely be my go to spot! read more

I left your store today extremely disappointed in the customer service. Unfriendly. Unhelpful. Insincere. My family doesn't drink a lot, but for the recreational drinking we do... our liquor will be purchased elsewhere or we'll go without. read more

I walked into the store and the clerk asked if she could help me. I asked if they had any Blanton's in stock for purchase. She told me that they did but that I had to purchase $200 of additional bourbon that they are unable to move in order to have the privilege of purchasing Blanton's from them. Moral of the story, if you are in need of Blanton's bad enough to buy $200 of crap bourbon that they can't sell, stop in to the Liquor Locker. Worst business practice ever. You try to help out the little guys during COVID pandemic and this is what you get. Some people's businesses deserve to fail. read more

Rum selection is amazing!!!! Finely curated spirits selection. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable manager. Still geeking out over the selection of rum. Fine agricoles, pot still overpriofs and other sippers oh my! Tiki lovers this is your go to store. read more

5 stars for a liquor store.... Why? Due strictly to the fact this is not just another run of the mill package shop. I am the first to admit that I am not the most well versed mixologist. Liquor Locker helps to up my game when it comes to hosting parties and having the drinks be just as memorable as the food and atmosphere. I love the fact they out do their competition by carrying a large collection of craft vodka. The selection of gourmet bitters is a god send. I must also give fair mention to the liquor infused whipped cream just to make any desert that much more special. Following them on facebook has also paid off very well with some amazing sales, and even free vodka (stress on the FREE part)! I'm not sure why I haven't found any liquor stores on their level but maybe the fact they are locally owned and know their customers is key! read more

Great selection, and most of all very helpful and friendly staff. We love our neighborhood package store!

The overall service and attitude of the workers was very poor. The prices are good but in opinion that alone does not reflect a service being provided and why I am not giving better review. I generally tend to think small businesses do a great job of providing the quality of service that other larger stores do not and like to support them any opportunity I have. This is not the case with store. I bought a bottle of liquor and the employee placed it in a bag after taking 10 steps out the door the bottle exploded on the ground which was the result of a hole in the plastic bag. Went inside to let them know and they proceeded to act like it was my fault and that I would have to buy a new bottle. The store did not even offer to help clean it up but instead an employee from the local grocery store (Publix) next door did. This is all after being questioned if I was 21 (I am 26 years old and provided them with a valid copy of my passport). I would advise not going to this place if you value quality of service. I would rather spend my time supporting the respectful and nice employee's of Publix than ever returning to this store. read more

I've been in this store dozens of times. I usually know what I'm looking for and always find it. Not sure whats going on recently... today made a special trip there to find 6 people waiting outside the locked door with a "Be Right Back" sign stuck on door. No time or indication of when they open again. It's not like Sarasota has a lot of liquor stores so they a lock on the market. Poor way to run a store. read more
