They get you in with a "free consult" ad on Facebook then charge you for stuff. Switch and bait scheme. Do not fall for it!

Both surgeries were successful and I am now able to resume a normal way of life. Great team!!!! Thanks also too, Jenny, who was the surgical coordinator and did an amazing job making sure that my appointments and surgery went as smoothly as possible. She's an extra star in their team. KWOC's personnel were always courteous and helpful.

Title: A Nightmare Experience--Listen to Your Instincts and Seek a Second Opinion…read more I chose Dr. Stolarski for my April 2024 knee replacement based on his reputation and promised technology. Unfortunately, my experience was the worst of my life. Pre-Op & Concierge Fees: I was not allowed to speak with Dr. Stolarski until the week before surgery. He dismissed my pre-op MRI, stating he only needed to know I was "bone on bone." I requested a titanium knee, not a "smart knee." During this time, his staff suggested a $10,000 out-of-pocket "concierge fee" if I wanted faster appointments and direct access to the doctor who was operating on me. I declined. On surgery day, Dr. Stolarski never checked on me pre-op, post-op, or spoke to my family in person. Months of Dismissed Pain: Immediately, my home therapist noticed my knee would not bend. For months, I suffered from severe pain, swelling, and heat." It took 5 months of exhausting physical therapy to get my knee to bend but the severe pain and tightness remained. Despite a normal MRI at 8 months and bone testing at 12 months I was dismissed, told I had "anxiety," and that everything was "perfect!" I begged Dr. Stolarski and his PAs for help with finding cause of the pain. In August 2025, a medical assistant--not the medical team--suggested metal testing. I paid to expedite bloodwork through a Chicago lab and discovered a nickel allergy. In October 2025, Dr. Stolarski coldly told me if I wasn't better now, I never would be, and suggested a total revision. The Truth Found Out of State: In January 2026, I sought a second opinion in Atlanta. Within 15 minutes of looking at new X-rays and my metal testing results, that surgeon revealed the truth: my knee was overstuffed (too big), the kneecap was too thick, and despite my requests for titanium, the implant was made with nickel. Recovery: I had a knee revision in Atlanta in January, 2026. On day one, I could sit in a chair with my knee bent at 90 degrees. Five months post-op, I am hiking mountains in North Carolina completely pain-free. Dr. Stolarski's office either completely missed glaring issues on my X-rays or chose to ignore them. To them, you are just a number. If you are hurting after your knee replacement and being dismissed in Florida, trust your gut and leave the State for a second opinion.

I was told I would be much better , even back to normal IF I did the PRP injections , that just happen to be on sale that month. $1500 instead of $3000. I was told this was a can't miss cure & not to get hip replacement surgery! I was given, prior to that injection , 7 cortisone shots to help relieve the pain. I got billed the usual deductible then later an additional $200-300 per visit! The cortisone did help a little but not much & only for a few days. Finally I gave in & did the magical PRP. I asked if 1 shot would work, I got blank looks then finally was told maybe. I was also told if I got additional needed shots to feel better that each would be $1500, probably more. I waited over a month for good results after that PRP SHOT. I got nothing! I'm in MORE pain now than when I began & $2300 poorer. This was an epic fail. A waste of time & $$. Don't go there & get sold on false hope & promises. They might cure a slight case of tendinitis or a sore ankle , but anything else is not happening. I feel like I got conned. A shot of snake oil would have been the same result. Don't go to this place if you are in pain! Go see an Orthopeadic Dr. I finally went to a hip Orthopedic Dr ,had an xray done & found my hips were fine! I had Just a slight bit of arthritis. They then did a lumbar & pelvic MRI & found out what was REALLY wrong. Multiple bulging lumbar discs, almost all of them herniated too! Stenosis present as well! I haven't even begun to pay out anything close to what Cole took from me. Isn't it funny how insurance can cover all I have done since I left Cole's con job , but with him just getting a cortisone shot cost me $100s ? My pain & issues had gotten worse while I fooled around with those useless, expensive shots of Dr Cole's! His , "I know exactly what you are feeling & what the problem is" was pure BS. He saw a sucker, a person in severe pain who hoped to avoid surgery, & he played that into $$. DON'T go there! See a real Orthopedic Dr.

Discharged Without Notice -- Serious Communication Failure…read more I was very disappointed with Intercoastal Medical Group, Beneva Road. My doctor discharged me without any notice, even though I am 80 years old, and had been on prescribed medication from their office for a long time. Without renewal, there is a risk of serious health consequences. Communication was also difficult, and when I tried to discuss my concerns, I was told they don't share email contacts for managers or doctors. I hope Intercoastal Medical will take greater responsibility for continuity of care and clearer communication with patients.

Well this dose is high and Dr should have started you off at half this and worked your way up to see if you could tolerate it' So I call and speak with his nurse Sara and ask her if he could lower it and explain what pharmacy said. She asks Dr.Powell and he said that what he called in is what I need and he was not changing it. So all night I am throwing up and having heart palpitations feeling like I'm having a heart attack, because of the strong side effects! Now I have worse anxiety because I'm gun shy to take anything else. I am not impressed with his doctoring skills if he can't even do something this simple.
