It's quite impressive, and I think nicer after the renovations in 2020 after a fire. Most of the offices you would typically visit are on the main floor. Signage is adequate, but many of the doors lead to offices or windows for multiple functions, so read carefully. Other functions, such as courts and police offices, will be on other floors. There is a ADA-compliant ramp and an adjacent parking lot. My business there today was in the City Clerk's office. They were helpful, friendly, and prompt. Unfortunately, there's only 1 chair available, so be prepared to stand if there's other folks waiting for assistance.

I got a seatbelt ticket on the passenger side on a busy Saturday morning in Saratoga a while ago…read more The ticketing cop was arrogant (cops in Saratoga are usually pretty cool unless you are fighting), and seem to enjoy making a spectacle out of pulling us over. I live 2 blocks from Broadway as my license states, and had been in the car for 30 seconds. I thought I'd see him in court as we agreed to after the ticket was issued but it was said he had a cold (I think this is a ploy to make this even more of a pain in the ass by making me go back to court) so he was not there. At my turn to appear before the judge my crime was made public and my defense (I'm running low on cash and would prefer no punishment) was rejected by the DA. Turns out no seatbelt is a moving violation and points on your license. In total is $180 and 2 points if you plead guilty. My crime was reduced to a monetary punishment of $50 and no points. I liked the judge, I felt like he was fair and I could respect him. The DA (He looked exactly like the guy from the office Creed Bratton) didn't seem to budge and I felt like it was he that was really running the show. It didn't take to long, I was in and out in an hour. All the cops and security were nice. I just feel like I should be above the law (like cops are), or at least I should only have to obey the laws that I agree with. I mean how many laws are there anyway? It's just when you get caught that you have to pay $50 and pick up the trash. I usually wear my seatbelt (it's said that people who don't have suicidal tendencies), but I feel like you should get one waring, and if you show up to court, dressed smartly and with you hair combed you should get a get out of jail free card. I'm not going to let it ruin my day. Justice (I like to think of Justice as that statue with the boobs out that during the bush administration had to wear a robe.... she is pretty hot) has been served.

They sponsor a lot of local activities. Their Internet connection PCs get a lot of use. They don't have a parking lot, but they have a lot of curbside parking, and of course a great view of the Hudson River. My mom gets books here regularly. She stays on waiting lists for many of her books, and she says the books typically become available in about one-third the time it takes at larger libraries such as the Saratoga Springs Public Library.

Stress can be a trigger and breaking off an engagement qualified gloriously and I had an outbreak this last summer. I'm here to tell others who suffer with psoriasis that you can do something about it! I've been able to get rid of it almost completely and I can tell you that there is hope. One of the reasons I choose to live in Saratoga is because of the springs. I believe a place where water springs forth from the earth is a place of life. So during my psoriasis flare up I visited Old Red and drank deeply. Old Red or Sleeping Beauty has a high Iron content and since the Revolution people have visited the spring as it's known to help skin ailments. I'm not saying that Old Red cured my psoriasis, but it was a piece of the pie. Deciding to get better is the first and often hardest step to take. Disease can be just as much mental as physical and sometimes you have to choose to love yourself even with your faults and know that things in life change but you will make it through even the hardest things. Healing is life. Living is healing.

But it's not a bad place to plan your base of operations to attack Vermont. I mean that in the tourist sense. I don't mean you should do harm to Vermont. What's it ever done to you?
