About a year and a half ago after heaving several estimates about replacing our windows and entry door my wife and I decided to go with sash and sill for a couple reasons. To begin with when the owner Todd came for the initial presentation I was impressed by his professionalism in explaining and answering my questions and addressing my concerns with the right attitude and not being pushy. The price that he quoted me was a fair price compared to the others. So we decided to go with him. Sash and Sill was one of the contractors we had bid on replacing our windows and doors with impact glass (19 windows, 4 doors), so we could retire our hurricane shutters. They were competitively priced and had great references, so we chose them for the project. The project took longer than anticipated, due to the glass manufacturer's lead times and a couple manufacturing mistakes, but Sash and Sill worked with them to correct the issues and kept us informed. Their installers were very friendly, skilled, detail oriented and always cleaned up their construction debris each day. They were always responsive to our concerns during the project, which kept the stress level down. We just moved to our former vacation home in Bradenton from Philadelphia. We looked for contractors to install new French doors in our Lanai. We replaced two sets of Sliding glass doors and fixed panels. The seals on the windows kept Breaking and we replaced 3 sections of glass in the last two years. Three contractors came out to look at our job. One never came back with a price. The second Wanted to do the job they wanted to do and didn't listen to my needs and came back with a crazy high price. But Sash and Sill listened to my ideas and suggested a few things I didn't think of and drew up a plan to replace my windows and install two sets of 6' French doors. Very pleased with Sash and Sill! Replaced all windows and doors in our Florida home that are hurricane rated. They were very competitive price wise, and all windows fit perfect! Sash and Sill is A++. A friend who had her front door installed by them 6 years ago told me about them. I had an initial estimate done, then COVID hit and my door order was put on hold by me. Finally, after Hurricane Ian, we circled back and changed our door design. My window installation was done in a very professional manner. The hurricane windows besides giving me great peace of mind made a big difference in buffering the outside noise. I no longer get awakened by the garbage truck backing up on my street at 7:30 in the morning. Prior to installation all was explained and communication was excellent. No mess was left behind and inspection by the county was taken care of by Sash & Sill. The county inspector was impressed with the windows. He had not seen this product before and thought it was really good. The employees that did the job were great. The man that first came out and explained my options was very patient and knowledgeable. Our experience with Sash & Sill has been nothing short of total satisfaction from the very beginning. We had double entry storm doors installed with such professionalism by their installers. The guys were always in a great mood and cracking jokes to make for the most pleasant experience during the installation. I went through three different quotes and ended up meeting the owner of this company and had a great proposal and decided to move forward because they were local and had the best pricing. Not only did they install my windows in one day, it was less than 8 hours and they staged every window so no messes would be made in my house. Their warranty is fantastic and the crew doing the work was great period had a great rapport with them as they needed to get things done throughout the day at the house. Extremely professional, extremely well done and I've recommended no one else but your company for windows. If Sash & Sill hadn't been so honorable about making corrections, I would have given them just 2 or 3 stars. The problem is the manufacturer they use - PGP Glass. Regarding my $12k job, first they sent a cracked window (which inadvertently got installed). Then the weather stripping on nearly all the windows kept falling off. Crew took three visits for that and a fourth visit to finally use adhesive on it. The adhesive they used glued the windows shut which entailed another visit. Altogether it took eight or nine crew visits (that many days off work for me) over a span of EIGHT MONTHS to finally have my new windows. I appreciate S & S's diligence to make this right, but none of these things should have happened. read more

We had double entry doors installed by Sash & Sill at our home last fall. I started the selection process entirely on-line in August and the finished product was in place by November. This company was excellent to work with from the initial on-line contact, through door and hardware selection, to actual installation. High quality product, well made, and so much more energy efficient than the old original entrance doors. I bought my Condo a couple of years ago. The only thing I didn't love was the lanai windows. Sash and Sill took care of that. They were very patient with me while I decided what I wanted.
