They are so helpful. Caleb, Daniel my OG servers/bar tenders are absolutely fantastic. They can recommend the best drinks. Bastian, Jasmine, "Kyle", and Alexandria are new to the crew and they are all so positive and welcoming. I love the new space. The bar has a new space and there is plenty of seating in the new dining room. They also still have a cigar lounge with plenty of seating on leather Chesterfield sofas. The food is really good. They have a daily special. I love when they have the meatloaf. It is so tender. We alway order the pretzel with extra beet cheese. The pizza is a thin crust. It hold up. I love most of the appetizers. The pork belly bites are delicious. The dates are good. The wings are also tasty. Honestly, I could go on and on. If you are in Old Town Spring, stop by and have cocktail and maybe a bite.

The overall vibe is rustic, chill, and historic. There is open seating so we sat at a table and were shortly greeted by Brice. We ordered drinks and food which arrived fairly quickly. We ordered Margherita pizza with pepperoni, wings and fries. All had quality ingredients and were really good! As we were leaving, the live music was setting up so we look forward to returning to hear their line up. Overall we had a great experience!

It almost felt like a coffee shop... just with a different specialty beverage taking center stage. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxed, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and did a great job helping guests find something that matched their taste preferences, which I always appreciate. After grabbing a drink, I found a seat and waited for bingo to begin. While I was sitting there, I couldn't help but notice that this place seems to have built quite the community of regulars. There were gentle laughs floating around the room, inside jokes being shared, and an overall sense that people genuinely enjoyed spending time there. The lounge is also pet-friendly, which was a fun surprise. Looking around, I noticed a large selection of board games and card games available, along with a pool table tucked toward the back. It definitely feels like a place designed for people to settle in and stay awhile. When bingo started, it was well organized and a lot of fun. The prizes were actually worth winning, too which unfortunately I did not accomplish. Whomp whomp. lol Overall, I enjoyed my visit and can absolutely see why people become regulars here. While I'm not sure it would be a spot I'd frequently visit on my own, I do think it shines as a place to gather a few friends, sip on a drink, play some games, and enjoy a laid-back evening together. If you're looking for high-energy nightlife, this probably isn't it. But if you're looking for good company, cozy vibes, and a community feel, this lounge definitely has its charm.

The bar is clean, along with the restrooms, which have surfboards as handles, which is cute & unique. They also have bar food, which is good. We went to see Al Bettis & his band and they were great! The sound in this bar is very good, no echo just pure sound! They are a tight band! Now let's get to the service... a big HUG shout-out to LOREN!! I've been to the original location in Spring Branch, but this was my first time visiting this location. The bar is located in a shopping strip off of 59. Parking is plentiful. Unlike the original location, you do not have to scan your ID (if you've been to the Spring Branch location, then you know what I'm talking about). It was pretty early on a Saturday evening, so it wasn't terribly busy. I sat at the bar. I don't know the bartender's name that served me, but she was nice. I ordered the Kingwood which is a gin based cocktail with cucumber. The drink was fine, but it was a little tart for my preference. A splash of simple syrup would have balanced it out. I did request for it to be less spicy (it has jalapeño in it). They have live music, though when I was there, they didn't have a band playing. They serve typical bar food like burgers, salads, and nachos. The vibe wasn't quite the same as the location in Spring Branch, but it was fine. This is a nice option for craft cocktails in Kingwood.

The bartender was very attentive to us even while she was busy running the bar alone, she even brought us some drinks while we were playing a game of pool(I won). The dj Charlie I believe is his name, was extra friendly as he asked us for a song request...I told him to play something by randy Travis and to my amazement he didn't gawk at me, he did however play Digging up bones which apparently everyone in the bar was also a fan of. The music wasn't too loud this time but I know when they have live performances it's way louder than I can handle. Mostly everyone was playing darts inside and nothing else was going on outside probably because it's just too damn hot for that. The biggest complaint is the parking lot, it's got some big craters or pot holes, call it what you want but just drive really slow. I don't think they have a kitchen serving food but I could be wrong. I will be back in the fall

We asked if the owner knew we were being denied entry and we were told that the owner was the one denying the entry. We were told he could see us on the cameras and wanted us to leave. We try to support local Kingwood are restaurants and hadn't been to Union Kitchen in quite a while. We arrived and asked for a table for 6, the dining room was busy so they said it would be a few minutes. Then 3 more of our group we hadn't expected arrived and the hostess quickly let the servers know to make our table larger. We only had to wait 8 or 9 minutes and were seated in the side dining room which was great as it was not crowded so it was easy to talk without a lot of ambient noise from the more crowded main room. I believe one of the assistant managers began taking drink orders as our designated server was finishing up some tables nearby. She had a great sense of humor and quickly went to get our drinks. FYI, they have both an All Day menu and a lunch special one which we hadn't seen before a their website so that is an option and is a bit less expensive with smaller servings than the All Day one. As it was April 15, they had a special small Tax Day menu where everything was prices at $4.15! What a cute idea! We all ordered our lunches and soon we were enjoying what was brought out. I had the special lentil soup and the blackened salmon tacos, my wife had the 1/2 lb classic burger and the house made potato chips. Everything was excellent. Glad we stopped by for our group lunch.
