The employee there who was the same guy both times was polite and professional. The office is minimal and had a sufficient number of chairs. Doesn't matter because you won't be there long anyways. My insurance took a while to send the supplement over to JJ, but once JJ Auto Body received it, they got started right away, which I really appreciate. I just wanted to keep you all informed on what's going on. JJ Auto Body has continued to impress me throughout this entire process. I've never dealt with a body shop before, so this is my first experience, and I have to say...the consistent communication and updates have been phenomenal. You all know how it is being without your car, especially in Houston...it really feels like you've lost a part of your daily life. So staying updated on the progress has been very comforting. This is my…read morefirst time ever taking my car to a body shop, and after seeing the amazing reviews, I decided to trust them with my repair. For transparency, here's the timeline so far: - April 1: Dropped my car off at the shop - Received a text that my car was in the disassembly stage, and they would let me know if any hidden damage was found - April 9: Received a message that hidden damage was found and that I could reach out for more details - Rich updated me on the damages and let me know he would be sending the supplemental estimate to my insurance So far, my experience has been very good. The shop has been professional, communicative, and easy to work with. I'm hoping they hear back from my insurance soon and that the process doesn't take too long. I'll post my next update next week!
