They only feature the wardrobe from the actual movie sets, which was presented in a way where it helped you remember which scene that they derived from. They also had that 60-pounds scary ahh animatronic "Chuckesme" doll that they got rid of after one feature lolol ... they even had the werewolf cardboard stand-in that they used to cgi over for Jacob and the other werewolves featured in the movies. Something that I thought was super neat was that they used white mannequins to signify human, and grey mannequins to represent the non-human characters. There truly is not much at this museum, but they worked with what they got and made the appearance still gave me in awe. In order to go here, u need to sign in for a 15-minute time slot with the staff person at the front of the location. Come by a couple of minutes before so that you could reserve a spot. They only let 10 people total per time slot, but it is free admission! There are also a bunch of filming locations nearby by walking distance that you can check out while you wait to go into this museum. They brief you on how it will work for your museum visit, but the staff was soooo sweet. Making sure that each visitor understood the history and significance of everything and everyone featured in this museum. Increases your appreciation for the art, even if you are not a fan of the franchise, like myself. Staff is so passionate about their job that you cannot help but want to learn more about it. Staff also willing to take pictures for u! Thank u to that guy, jack, for his many many many donations to this museum !!

don't usually review gift shops, but Native to Twilight Gift Shop really stood out…read more Forks is such a small, community-driven town, and you can feel that the moment you walk in. The staff was incredibly welcoming and open--one of the women working there took the time to chat with us, recommend places to eat, nature spots to check out, and even pointed out cool bugs to look for (which honestly made the whole experience feel very local in the best way). I ended up having such a great conversation with her--just genuinely kind and sweet energy. Also, if you're a magnet person... this place is dangerous. They have a really great selection--not just Twilight-themed, but also Port Angeles, La Push, Lake Crescent, and the surrounding areas. My family spent way too long deciding. It's one of those spots that feels less like a tourist stop and more like a reflection of the town itself. Definitely worth popping into while you're in Forks.

I was hopeful to grab some fun Twilight souvenirs to bring home to my friends, but didn't care much for the options. It seems like they didn't have rights to actual movie merch. The best part of this shop is the cardboard cutout photo op. You can be Bella next to Edward and Jacob, which leaves lots of guests in giggles. They offered other souvenirs beyond Twilight stuff that matched the region. Things felt normally priced for a souvenir store.

When we were here, the retail room was the Forever Twilight in Forks Collection. They have free tours every 15 minutes and is operated by the Forks Chamber of Commerce. It contained authentic costumes worn by the actors in Twilight (both bought at auction and loaned), translated books with the most unique covers, and other memorabilia and decoration from the movies. If you're going to Olympic National Park or are a big Twilight fan, chances are you will pass by Forks. Make a pit stop to check out this multi-functional space and other attractions in the area.

It was impressive how much information that the staff could remember to then pass on to each visitor with the same enthusiasm , even though they briefed this so many times. I consider it mandatory to come here to the visitor center so that you can better plan your Forks, Washington trip as a twilight fan or Twihard. Quite a bit of parking here, too!

It shows how they made trees into post offices, houses and other things. Upstairs you can see a fire tower. Other information on the history of forks like the movie theater, bars and other businesses in the area. Worth a stop if you want to learn a bit about how timbering has changed over time and the tools they used to do it.

Had to make time to visit their outdoor 5 acre sculpture garden. There are so many items to look…read moreat. Some weird, some cool and some whimsical pieces. You had to look up and down every few steps to not miss something. I found it cool that they also had inspirational signs as well as ones asking questions, inviting guests to think about deeper things. Some items apparently are designed to decay with the forest. Not all items had signs to describe the art or even give it a title. You just had to roll with it.

I was reading my Frommer's guidebook to look for things to do around Port Angeles and it mentioned this place. I'm not the biggest fan of contemporary art, but this was amazing and FREE! We only spent a couple of minutes inside the fine arts center, because the outdoor sculpture garden was out of this world. Nestled under a canopy of trees were all sorts of modern sculpture, a lot of it whimsical, hanging from the trees, suspended in the air, and blending into the environment. It was everywhere and you almost felt like you were on a scavenger hunt. What a fantastic way to introduce my kids to art. We all had a blast wandering around the woods looking for the next discovery. My favorite sculpture was the collection of sweaters on a hillside (see photo).

Miniature World is a big showcase of over 85 dioramas and displays of so many things miniature: railroads, old Americana, World War 2, Fantasy, Folklore, fairytales, knights, Victorian era, American Revolution, French Revolution, Age of Enlightenment, the Wild West, and so much more. The level and detail are extraordinary...pictures can only capture maybe 10% of the excellence, words only 1%. $19CAD/$15USD Adult and $11CAD/$8USD Child, worth it! Expect to spend an hour, or longer if you have children or are a nerd like myself.

Without any PRE-DISCLOSURE EASILY VISIBLE, they round up purchases to the next dollar amount (USD$$) My cash purchase was in USD for $11.45, but they requested $12.00 USD. The clerk had a snippy attitude when I asked for change, even if it was in Canadian coins. She said that they never give coin change in any currency, and that they ALWAYS round up to the next dollar. When I inquired where this was posted BEFORE making a purchase, the clerk stated that it was on a back corner of the glass top where items were being rung up....It was a large rectangular counter and she pointed to the furthest corner away from me to a little piece of paper that looked taped on.....this is very sneaky of them-- So their pockets are being lined with any coin change from who know how many customers?? I will be CERTAIN to walk on by this store on any future visits. Shoppers...there are other souvenir shops on the same street to consider that WILL give coin change!
