Gift shop in the middle of nowhere, in/out on the road into Hoh Forest. There were signs advertising supplies, drinks and snacks, but this place had zero snacks of any kind. The only drinks they had was one flavor of a sports drink. No supplies of any kind, either, so don't think you'll stop here to grab something you would need camping. The store is 99% clothes and shoes, nothing in a big/tall size, with some trinkets at the register. The woman working the register seemed to struggle to ring us up (friend grabbed that beverage as he was super thirsty), telling us that the internet is really spotty out there. Parking lot was full of pot holes. read more

I was in this shop Saturday May 6th with my lovely fiancée! We were stopped in this awesome shop before heading onto the Hoh Rainforest! This place looked small on the outside. An older looking blue house. But once you get inside it's rather large actually! Lot's things to look at! I was quite impressed! I was looking for a particular hat, didn't find it. But that's alright. The pictured hat here was my second choice! All in all I'd say this was a great shop to stop at! I recommend it to anyone who is heading out to the Hoh Rainforest! Great place to stop, they have a little bit of everything! Nice selection of t-shits and long sleeve shirts. I bought a hat that's now my favorite and of course the token hat pins! I do wish they had a better selection in women's t- shirts size small that were more for the HOH rainforest. read more

We LOVE Peak 6. No trip into the Hoh Rainforest is complete without a stop here on the way in or out. Adventure gear and outdoor equipment could not be any more affordable. I always end up with a new piece of apparel or a hat or jewelry. They change over their goods with enough regularity that I always find something I want. The owners are friendly and engaging and are just as much a part of our experience as the shopping. We make certain to bring visiting guests every time we come over from Port Angeles. read more

Great customer service and great selection of merchandise. They gave my little girl a kitty book. Were willing to help find needed sizes. They have beautiful land on the back with cows. They even feed the cows so my kids could see them up close. Great little place. read more

Seriously the cutest gift shop in all of ONP. The ones in the park are quite boring and all have the same and limited products. This place has sweatshirts, hats, tshirts, ornaments, magnets, coffee cups, knives, all things souvenir and normal day to day items along with snacks and beverages. This tucked-away shop is worth a side trip on any journey down the Washington coast. Not only eclectic, full of interesting things (antique cameras!), the shop has a really nice selection of quality outdoor clothing. Jackets, shirts, caps...and much to my amazement, a rack of Kakadu Australian shirts. There is also a refrigerator of various sodas. The woman who was running the shop was a hoot to chat with, full of suggestions. It's a great little family-run business. Further up Upper Hoh Road, there is a memorial to a shipwreck of one of the original Russian exploration trips to the Pacific Northwest, well worth stopping and reading the stories. read more

We originally came in to support this little isolated local shop in the middle of nowhere. It was raining profusely and the parking lot was vacant. We felt bad and wanted to buy a candy bar or something. We left with two nice jackets and a Snapple. The lady there was so nice that she made us wanna buy everything. And, they have great sales on jackets and windbreakers. Definitely stop in on your way through. read more

This store has signs all over that say, "beverages, snacks, camping supplies." My friends and I are camping and could do with some more beverages, snacks and, oh I don't know, maybe even camping supplies. We walk into the store, where we are received with long stares. We quickly see that this adventure store is the adventure of gift shopping and fancy clothing. --Beautiful things, mind you, but we are camping and are not looking so beautiful and just want to eat about it and be on our way. But we wander politely for a minute, looking but not touching, until we get a less-than-friendly, "is there something I can help you with?" from the sales clerk. We ask about the snacks and beverages, and the lady stares at us like we're from Mars and tells us they don't have things like that in a tone that suggests Mars is too close for the likes of us. This lovely store right outside the park was the perfect pit stop on our way out after the holiday weekend. There was a wide variety of t-shirts and souvenirs to choose from, and the woman working was friendly and helpful. Her genuine interest in the national park and our experience was a testament to her kindness and care for every person who comes into the store. I'd give 6/5 stars if I could! read more

We haven't actually been in the store, because they were closed when we arrived at a nearby campground. But when discovered we'd brought the wrong pump for our air mattresses, Gary helped us out. He let use an outlet to blow them up so we could sleep. It was above & beyond the call of duty. We'll definitely be stopping back in there to say thank you and to buy some things. read more

What a lucky find! My boots and socks were soaked from exploring tide pools at Beach 4 and I didn't have time to go back to Forks before heading to the Hoh rainforest, then we happened upon this jewel of a shop. Better hiking boots than mine at 40% off...it was an easy sell! Better looking Olympic National Park shirts than the selection at the visitors' centers or lodges. read more

This shop has a Forks address but is on the road off US 101 into the Upper Hoh Rain Forest. A mathematician and family member of an Olympic National Park explorer and expedition leader owns this great supply and gift shop. Ashley, the awesome surfer who runs the shop has a wealth of knowledge about everything in the store and the world outside. Anything you need to know about the Hoh, Forks, La Push, Port Angeles and points in between, all you've got to do is ask. We picked up a handful of shirts and my son bought a necklace for a friend. They have nice gear and cool souvenirs. Peak 6 Adventures definitely merits a stop as you enter the Upper Hoh Rain Forest, which itself is worth a couple hours side trip if you're travelling the Olympic Peninsula. read more

We too encountered this lovely surfer girl that was nothing but a dream come true. She told us stories about the items we purchased, helped us shop, recommended the good restaurants in this desolate area and couldn't have been sweeter. The shop itself is the best gift shop I've been to in all of the parks I've visited, they have some normal park gifts but a lot of unique and fun items as well. We will definitely be back to this adorable shop again the next time we visit the peninsula. read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We stopped in with our autistic son to look around for ponchos before our hike. Our son was touching a display case and the cashier yelled No at him. Then again. When we realized what was happening, we explained why he couldn't touch it and apologized for it. To which she responded, "Yeah, it's bad enough I have to deal with all these people." When I called to explain why he was oblivious to her, I didnt even allow her a chance to speak when she replied with a hateful tone and said "Mam, listen." I continued to explain why and told her I hoped she never treated another child like that again and blessed her. Such an unfortunate experience. That lady lives in a recreational state, light up and calm yourself down. If you cant handle working at a TOURIST shop, then find a new job. Needless to say. No money was spent there and I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Love this store! It is right in the middle of the Hoh Rain Forest. What a great surprise to stop and see all the great stuff. Outdoor gear, outdoor clothing, Cute t-shirts and cool stuff to take home. Quality is great and the pricing is really good. The lady in the store was fun to talk to and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Stopping in here was one of the highlights of my trip! read more

We have been campers up the Hoh Rain Forest in the Olympic National Park for years, often several times a year and we DO NOT pass Peak 6 without stopping. Why, because this adventure store has great items related to hiking and being in the great out-of-doors. The prices are reasonable and often provide the guest with items not found in even larger stores (such as REI). In addition the Petersons (Gary and Charlotte) are great hosts as is their helper Ashlee (sp) - it is not just about being a "sales person", but also being a friendly helpers. We almost always buy yet another book about trails, Native American local history or history of the area - always something new in their book inventory. And don't be afraid to ask for a cup of coffee on a rainy day - you'll have it served with a smile. read more

This place is great. I stopped by to replenish with soda and candy while seeing the Hoh rain forest, and mentioned that we were tripping down the coast. The lovely and talented person offerred to help me scope out some more stops for our trip, and every one was a grand slam, from the giant cedar, to the ruby beach tide pools, to the Kalaloch lodge for good food, as well as what not to see- those were right too, based on conversations with some of the other tourists we saw. I didn't catch her name, only that she was a nice lady with long brown hair, a surfer that knew the coast, and the 5 minutes she took to show me these places on the map set us up for an excellent afternoon of driving.
