Makeup- yes Hairdos - HELL NO I've used this salon a few times. My most recent visit was for a large party, and I requested that the hairstylist arrive a little earlier. I was charged a 30% premium for the early appointment, which I was perfectly fine paying. The makeup artist did a great job. Unfortunately, my experience with the hairstylist was extremely disappointing. I requested a very simple blowout with the front sections parted and pinned back so my hair would stay out of my face. I even showed the hairstylist a reference photo. My hair was already washed and slightly damp when I arrived, so the styling should have been straightforward. The hairstylist appeared to be very inexperienced and struggled to handle my hair properly. The final result looked nothing like what I had requested and was so poorly done that I had to take everything down and redo my hair myself. As a result, I was late to the party. I blame the salon for placing an inexperienced person for the job, The lack of professionalism and skill was astounding. Honestly, my seven-year-old son could have done a better job. My girlfriend is blond, and apparently it's very hard to be blond! She is super careful about her hair and people who do her hair( we had some drama in the past, trust me) . Well, my verdict : this place is amazing. Every single time she come here- she is super happy, but most importantly, her hair is not damaged and look healthy and very attractive ( not just to me) Her master is Igor and he uses this new technic called " air touch", which is suppose to be more gentle for blondes... highly recommended to try him. I love this brand new place. Clean, airy, amazing customer service and really great hair cuts. Zenya is amazing for all types of hair does for brides and Kiril and Igor are amazing for hair cuts. I have been to this place 5 times already and there is always positive atmosphere, no unneeded chit-Chat and you are always taken on time. I just got my eyebrows done here with a woman named Alina. I came in for a brow lamination, for those who don't know it a semipermanent (1 month) treatment that keeps your eyebrows looking fluffy. When I sat down she asked me if I want a shaping, I said I like my current shape but she proceeded to tell me that she should just lightly clean up one droopy corner- which I agreed to. Fast forward 30 min and my eyebrows are a completely different shape, she butchered them. I came in with thick beautiful brows and left with awkwardly thin, far apart sparse little brows. I am shocked and upset but the lack of direction. I went in knowing that a lamination can be washed off within the first 24hours if I didn't like it but regrowing my brows is going to take months if not years. PS- the lamination also looks terrible. I use soap brow daily to achieve a nice fluffy look but the shape she made me is SO bad that I now can't even appreciate the lamination because it accentuates my Spock brows. read more

Despite of the professional and welcoming interior of the salon itself, there are no professional hair stylists. They ruined my blonde hair. Now my hair is very dry like straw. The skin of my head is itchy, so I have to do a lot of repair treatments at another hair salon. Is this the result that you expect when pay $300+ for hair color and cut? No! By the way, the blonde color and hair cut are not perfect also. Do not recommend to go there. Go to Ressam instead. Prices are almost the same. read more

Very nice place! Going inside the salon, my first impression was about the space inside, it was spacious and comfortable. Also very nice interior design, felt and looked very clean as well. My hair stylist was Jeny. It was my first time and I am very happy with the salon and my stylist. She was meticulous, very professional, beautiful and nice. Have to put 5 stars! Love the interior design in the salon. Super trendy and probably the best salon I've been to in the Bensonhurst area. Greeted with a smile from a lovely receptionist with cute pink hair. The safety guidelines for covid are a plus. They make you answer a few questions when you sign in. Receptionist offers to take your coat and offers a beverage. My stylist was Kirill and he is gorgeous. He did my Brazilian blowout and he did it absolutely perfect. He sectioned every inch of my hair and saturated it with the keratin treatment to make sure it sinks into my hair because my hair is super frizzy damaged and with thick waves. He did a fantastic job my hair is soft, flowy, when I went to work my coworkers kept complimenting on how beautiful my hair is. I am so happy with my new hair I am definitely coming back to Kirill for dye job and another Brazilian blowout in a few months! I love this place it's a super chill environment! read more

Sassy hair salon, although relatively new to the area, is run and owned by the most experienced, professional and skilled staff and owners with the most relaxing atmosphere. Jenny is insanely creative and pays a lot of attention to detail she really knows her colors and she is the best stylist, I wouldn't trade her for the world. Igor who does my Brazilian blow out is amazing he is very attentive and listens to everything you wan't. When you come to Sassy Beauty Zone the atmosphere and service's are so relaxing and enjoyable that you don't wanna leave because you are treated like royalty. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! SAVE YOUR HAIR AND MONEY! They keep deleting my google review and I hope my review will be helpful to save your hair. I will give Sassy Beauty Zone a zero star. If you want your hair to be damaged - this is your place! The hairdresser Kseniya charged me $1585 for hair extension. I contacted the hairdresser right away a few days after the hair extension and in a very polite way asked her to remove my extensions. Just a few hours after the extension extended my hair and my hair -- both looked TERRIBLE which I had a video to prove! Usually when I go to a hair salon in New York -- my hair looks beautiful for months after the service. I have my regular salon in Manhattan where my hairdresser has known me for years and I am always a very happy customer. That was my first visit of Sassy Beauty Zone and my very first hair extension -- and in the video of my hair taken just a few hours after this 'service' in Sassy Salon my hair looked very bad -- it looked as if I never washed my hair in 6 months and extended hair looked very unkept and just terrible! I was very polite with a hairdresser and I wanted to remove what was not done properly. This is not what U pay that amount of money and not in New York to have your hair looked terrible! And I wanted to remove hair extension right away! I contacted the hairdresser to remove it and she told me she is available only in 1 month. To start with, I was shocked that the salon didn't provide any receipts for this 'service' as the hairdresser made me believe that she works in this salon for years. The hairdresser insisted I pay for the service only by Zelle or PayPal. That was very shady from the start, as no other salon in NY ever requested from me to pay for their service by Zelle or PayPal! Finally my hair removal was scheduled in 3 weeks as I kept reaching the hairdresser to remove hair extension asap. My hair was damaged and the major damage was done during the 20 minute procedure of hair extension removal. Hairdresser removed 183 hair pieces (!) in less than 20 mins(!). Normally, to remove hair extensions in the salon with a hair professional takes 1 hour and a half and longer -- it takes time and attention not to damage the hair during removal. My hair was damaged dramatically during this hasty 'removal'. I contacted the hairdresser to give her back the extended hair which was a bad quality and I asked her in a very polite way to give me back a refund for my damaged hair. The hairdresser refused and kept telling me that it is OK TO REMOVE 183 HAIR PIECES IN LESS THAN 20 MINS. SHE KEPT ACCUSING ME OF MANY THINGS BUT SHE REFUSED TO ADMIT THE FACT THAT SHE DAMAGED MY HAIR DURING THAT HASTY REMOVAL AND THAT SHE HAS DONE THE REMOVAL WRONG! I contacted the salon manager for a refund. The manager Alina told me that the salon has nothing to do with what their hairdresser is doing and the salon takes no responsibility as the hairdresser is a freelancer and they have nothing to do with her and with her work. I will contact the Better Business Bureau and take action against this scam place. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND SAVE YOUR HAIR AND MONEY!!!
