This place is horrible. No maintenance follow up. We experienced heavy flooding via the bathroom window during rainstorms. A maintenance request was submitted 8/23. No maintenance response as of 12/9/25. The landscape in the courtyard is full rotten wood furniture. If you experience any issues please report it to St. Petersburg Code Enforcement and The Department of Business and Professional Regulations. They will follow-up with all complaints. read more

This place is a complete dump. Unlivable. We rented an extended stay via VRBO. When we went to check in, we found bugs crawling the walls and floor, mold, broken and leaking AC, water damage, windows that didn't lock (this was a first floor apartment on the alleyway!). The online pictures are 100 percent computer generated and are not at all what you get when you arrive. We asked for our money back as we refused to stay there. We are still fighting to try and get our money back. We had to pay everything upfront and it was thousands of dollars for a multi week stay. These are horrible people to take advantage of consumers like this. DO NOT STAY HERE. read more

I've been wanting to leave this review for a while, but the thought of having to relive it made my blood boil. I figured I'd have to get over it and warn people about this place. I stayed here in January for what was supposed to be a 3-night stay and I left around 8am the day after refusing to spend one more night there. It was very cold outside when I arrived there late at night. I walked into my room and despite feeling icky due to the humidity in the room, I got over it because it was an old building with charm. First thing I did was turn up the temperature on the ac unit because of how cold the room was. While I waited for the room to heat up, I noticed that the curtains were barely wide enough to cover the sides and anyone could walk by and see me as I was on the ground floor. I was a woman traveling solo--even if I wasn't, why would a room lack basic privacy? Anywho, I went to shower, got out and the room was still freezing. I turned up the temp some more. Long story short, I couldn't sleep all night because it was so cold in my room. The thermostat on the AC read 56-58 degrees while it was set at 77 degrees. I slept with all the towels and sheets they provided to keep me as warm as possible. Next morning I text the hostess to ask if they could please provide me with a heater. I'll let the screenshots show you how that went. I looked up the AC unit online and it clearly says that the model doesn't have heating. Let's also acknowledge the passive aggressiveness in their response. No alternative solutions, no "oh, let us pass by your room later and show you". They clearly have no knowledge of the type of AC units they have there OR they knew but didn't care. And guess what? They also never refunded me like they said they would. Terrible place to stay. You've been warned. read more

DISGUSTING AND UNSAFE. Our room was full of black mold and roaches. Do not stay here, it is a biohazard and should be condemned. When we first arrived there was a big puddle on the floor from the air conditioner leaking into the apartment, mold visible on the vents, and several dead roaches. read more

If you like black mold, cockroaches, leaking AC units and a lack of security... this is the place for you! Booked a multi-week stay via VRBO and within minutes, we knew this dump would not work. They offered us another room - but given the amount of visible black mold in the first room, we declined the offer. Now, we're fighting Amex to get back nearly $6000. Because they offered us another room... right above the moldy room... AMEX is not refunding the charge. But anyone who knows anything... knows that in Florida, once mold is in a building, it's all over. The humidity (and lack of cleanliness) only fuels it more. That's not rocket science. I live here... I know this. So now, I'm going to have to pay this bill which infuriates me. So, Do yourself a favor - don't stay here. I'm usually very chill - but this place was beyond bad. And now I'm out big bucks. I have pics and videos, but I'm over this whole fiasco. Just trust me... there are dozens of other better options in Downtown St Pete. read more

Pay attention to the negative reviews and absolutely avoid this property. We had booked there months in advance for a busy event weekend in St. Pete. The week before the stay we repeatedly contacted the host to see if we could get details around check-in, parking, etc., with no response. The day of check there was still no communication, so at 3:30 pm we finally called airbnb, who contacted the host. At that point the host finally sent an email saying the room was no longer available. We had to scramble (race weekend everything was booked) and managed to find a room, but paid a pretty hefty premium since it was last minute. Airbnb did give us a full refund, but it doesn't sound like ours is the first time the owner has done this, so not sure why they are even still on the site. read more
