Relatively simple menu of wings (various flavors), chicken tenders, shrimp, fish, and fries. I ordered the Lil' Buddy Wing Box doused in Cravin' It sauce and also sprang for the deep fried boudin. The wings were excellent, having meat that was tender, moist, and easily came off the bone. I was particularly impressed with the Cravin' It sauce which is a mixture of several different sauces that imparts a delightfully unique flavor. The deep fried boudin was not quite as good as the wings or as other kinds of boudin I've found in Houston but was still reasonably tasty. The only drawbacks to the experience were the homeless man who hassled me for money as I was placing and waiting on my order as well as the fact that they were out of drinks (The menu shows them serving iced tea and homemade lemonade). The credit card system was also down at the time, but I was able to pay using CashApp, so it wasn't a problem. Such issues were really relatively minor, though, and given the quality of the food and friendliness of the service, will not keep me from returning to try some of the other menu items.

Buried deep in the parking lot at the Bureau of Statistics building, the truck isn't the most visible from the street. Once I realized it was in the back, I turned in to find a large, bright orange truck with no one else around. It turns out that this is an employee parking lot and there's a security guard circling the lot often. Beware, parking woes are highly likely. When in doubt, call ahead of time (#2) After being encouraged to park along the streets, I managed to walk over and order a number of items: a breakfast burrito ($7), breakfast tacos ($2.50), regular beef fajita, pastor and chicharron tacos ($3), along with a chorizo torta ($9). Right off the bat, I was a little turned off by being charged .25 cents for salsa. I've never gotten nickel and dimed at other trucks, but I figured I had to try some of their salsa verde, which definitely had a kick. I wouldn't get more than a small packet. A few of the tacos had just a bit too much lettuce and tomato instead of cilantro and onion, which made me realize that my order was incorrect. I didn't love the breakfast tacos and felt they really needed something additionally (#3) but the egg and chorizo was their best one. The torta was a tinge too dry and the breakfast burrito was also the same. The biggest disappointment were with the tacos. At $3 each, they're already in the upper echelon of pricing in Houston, so my expectations were higher. It turns out they're taquitos, i.e. a smaller taco that is basically a two-biter. And considering how dry the fajita and the pastor meat were, it was a serious letdown. The ladies running the truck are extremely kind.
