These chicken tenders might be the best I've ever had. You could feel the juice running out of your mouth as you bit into them, but the outside was very crispy. Fries are good, Mac and cheese is above average. Be careful with their heat scale. I think I'm pretty good at handling spice, but their "hot" was challenging to get an entire order down - think maybe a little below Buffalo Wild Wings "Blazin", so I can't imagine how their extra hot would be. The "medium" was spicy but not to the point where it left your mouth on fire. I definitely give them 5 stars. I got the Mac Hotti. It was a crispy chicken sandwich with mac and cheese inside! Delicious. Perfect crispiness and perfect mac n cheese flavor. The chicken was so juicy yummmm. The fries were seasoned too which I liked. My husband got the chicken tenders and he liked very much. Perfect dinner to go during the busy work week. I had a mild wing basket. The chicken was good very crispy and spicy. I wish it had a sauce though or since it didn't have a sauce it could have been a little more savory. The fries were nice and crisp but they barely had any salt. The pickles added a nice touch. Every good thing you will read about this place is absolutely true. I got the tender basket and my gf got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and oh man they were both a treat. The meat is juicy, the outer skin is crisped to perfection, the serving portion is large, and the prices are more than fair. Service was quick, and the owners were nice to boot. The spice level was JUST RIGHT. Like, no kidding. I couldn't believe how perfect the "medium" heat was. It was just enough heat to enjoy the spice, but not too spicy where I was sweating and grasping for something to drink. The spicy seasoning even clung to my lips to give that extended burning sensation that we all love from spicy food. And I can't go any longer without talking about the absolute PERFECTION that is the outer skin. The feeling you get when you bite down on this hot and hunky slab of meat produces a Top 10 *CRUNCH* experiences you will likely ever have in Houston. The spice, the texture, the smell, the taste, the juice - all of it. It's perfectly splendid. Regrettably, the experience as a whole was not perfect, hence the 4 stars. "Why the 4 stars?" you may ask? Well, my chicken tender basket meal was served with a little plastic cup of ranch. The ranch was good, but the cup was only filled about halfway. It's like they gave me a half pump of ranch to fill up just half the little plastic cup. I didn't get the full pump, so I docked half a star. Next time, give me the full pump! The other half star that I docked comes from the bun from the chicken sandwich that my gf got. More specifically, just the bottom bun was the culprit. Unfortunately, the chicken was so fresh that it must've produced so much steam that it makes the bottom bun a bit too soggy for our liking. Food trucks in general can be a mixed bag, and even the ones that come by here - it's a bit of a dice roll. This was great tho. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich basket, and which came with some well seasoned fries. The sandwich itself was large and filling, and is essentially three large freshly-fried tenders on a toasted bun with pickles, slaw, and some kind of sauce or mayo or aioli. You can pick your heat level, and I went with medium - and that was plenty for me. It lit me up lol. And the chicken is juicy and hot and crispy. Like, what you want basically from fried chicken. The wait time was twenty minutes once you order, but trust me - that's a good thing. It means you are getting it made for you, and it's not sitting there waiting on a customer.
