I ordered a serenity wreath over the phone to be delivered same-day for a wake/funeral. I was surprised when I went to the funeral home and saw the wreath. It was so beautiful and full of flowers. The price was very reasonable so I didn't expect it so full of flowers but it was. The lady on the phone was very helpful. I asked her to make it look pretty and she definitely did just that. I sent flowers to a friend who lost her father in law. I ordered an arrangement that morning, and received a message from the driver at 12:54 pm. He stated he was leaving the flowers in the door because it was a beautiful day. At 4:00 pm, my friend called to thank me for the flowers. She said she had to call the florist though because the condolence card wasn't signed. She also shared/texted me pictures of the flowers because most were dead. Could I look on my phone to view the images. I did, and was shocked! Did the delivery man deliver 1/2 dead flowers? Was the arrangement "alive" and died with in the 3 hours? Regardless, I called the florist. They were aware of the complaint and would pass on the issue to the owner. I should hear back in 24 hours. Well, 24 hours came & went, so I called and left a message (there was an emergency number, I wish I would have called it). No response. Again I waited...nothing. I called one last time and talked to receptionist. She assured me my message would be passed along. I'm still waiting. Overall, what a disappointment. All I wanted to do was cheer a friend up after her loss, and I end up sending her dead flowers. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Initially came here to order flowers for a funeral service. Julie (owner) met with us to discuss what we wanted. We had told her that we only wanted two arrangements because we wanted to donate the rest of the money to the deceased's family instead. Julie is all about the money. She doesn't care about her customers. She tried every possible way to make us get more and more arrangements. She insisted that we get 10 arrangements, one from each family member, because that would 'embarrass the family if we only had two arrangements.' We continued to say we only wanted two and then she tried repeatedly to make us get at least 4. Do not go here! Julie will only try taking advantage of you. We ended up ordering our arrangements from another business, which was much more respectful and even gave us a huge discount (over 200 dollars). Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere! read more

I phoned in an order to Sauganash Flowers to deliver a "just because" bouquet to my wife. The person taking my order asked how much I wished to spend, and I replied $50. My wife received a beautiful bouquet that was larger than I expected. I didn't think much of it until I looked at my credit card statement and saw that I was billed $150, not $50. Based upon the size of the bouquet and base, it is apparent that the person taking my order misheard my request to spend $50. Here's the rub: I called Sauganash Flowers to discuss the overcharge and see if I could get a partial refund or credit toward a future order, but no one returned my call. I called again and spoke with a person (different from the one who took my order) who told me that the owner is out of town but will call me back. I never got a call back. Clearly, the fine folks at Sauganash Flowers have no desire to discuss this matter any further. Not cool. At all. The fine folks at Sauganash Flowers have received enough of my money. Underwhelming, for sure. Also, I called there twice - once to order and once to confirm on the day of - and both times the person on the other line was slightly less than professional. I too would give this review ZERO stars if I could. My husband ordered birthday flowers and chocolates online to be delivered to my job by 12 noon to enjoy them until 4:00pm when I leave for the day. He had to spoil the surprise by telling me when he realized I never got them, and I had to now wait for the driver. I did not get them until nearly 4:30pm! Apparently online ordering does not state they have a "business hours" window of 9-5p (unless you pay an additional $35 for express delivery which guarantees specific time). He never would have ordered from there had he known that and spent so much money. When I asked what they were going to do to correct the situation, she said "well you got your flowers, right?" Julie the owner was not at all interested in making our unhappy experience right and said had he called the order in they would have told him so. I said that was a deceptive business practice by omitting that notice online and we will never use them again. Her customer service was deplorable to say the least. When I commented that 1-800 FLOWERS sends them for free if they don't make the delivery time window, she said "well we're not them", to which I said,"CLEARLY you are not, thank you for ruining it and I hope you have a horrible day!" read more

This was a great place to go if you need flowers for a wedding. Julie totally captured the vision that my mom and I had. Everything was beautiful, fresh and on-time. My mom is especially fussy when it comes to flowers and she wasn't sure that Julie really knew what she was talking about. My colors were purple and fushia. The colors were vibrant and she helped us save money by reusing the flowers from the church to the hall.The only thing that was forgotten was the toss bouquet but we were able to put one together with the table flowers. I ordered an arrangement thru their website for delivery. (and was charged a delivery fee) for same day delivery downtown. I placed the order around 9:00 am and my credit card was charged and I received an order confirmation. Julie then called me at 3:00 to tell me that she would not deliver the item in the city. This ruined my 5 year anniversary suprise last minute. Do not depend on these people. They are not reputable. read more
