I was able to get it within 2 hours! It was a bit pricey $25.00, but I believe that's the going price for fresh flowers corsage? Or cause it was a rush order? When we arrived to the address, it's in a strip mall and when I entered I was greeted by a nice young woman, the place is small and simple nothing fancy. I did see some fresh flowers in their case and some orchid plants display on a table for sale too. Overall it was a good experience I called, ordered, pickup and go. If you are in a pinch for some fresh flowers call or check out their display of what they have in stock. If my mom likes it, I'll order here again.

I know flowers have an expiration date, but I thought they might last a few more days than that. My friend told me they were sad and wilted looking by Saturday morning, and now completely dead today (Monday). Just something to keep in mind when placing an order online with this business. Maybe it was a bad batch of flowers, or old ones used for the arrangement, but either way, it's disappointing.

But when she came over she asked "how can I help you?" and after I explained the situation and that I wanted something small to take to my mom, she said that she was about to close and already had her car running outside and didn't have time to make something up. I hadn't alluded to that and didn't actually want to wait for her to make something up (both because I knew it was nearing their closing and because I wanted to get to the hospital to see my mom). She gestured to a plant that she had, but for many reasons I wouldn't get a plant for someone else. I thought maybe she'd have a gift item of some sort, perhaps not a floral item which would be fine. She told me that the florist at Advocate would probably have something. (I wasn't planning to stop and get something from their floral shop, which was good, because they were closed this day and the following). The whole time I was here I felt like I was intruding and that she couldn't wait to push me out the door. When have you ever been to a place where the employee (or in this case owner!) tells you that they have their car running outside?! That isn't meant to make people feel welcome or like you want to help them. I just don't even understand the point of her having been open her regular hours this day or even at all if she was on such a tight schedule. And she followed me out to take down her signs and stuff. I left empty handed, rebuffed by Jenny, and knowing that I'll never patronize this business nor could I ever recommend it to anyone given my experience.

Once I went onto their website and realized I could get a full bouquet of peonies, I was sold. The ordering process was seamless, and I communicated with them via phone a couple of times where they gladly answered my questions and confirmed the delivery window. Come day of delivery, I got a photo of my actual bouquet that I still show every single person I talk to about it. They looked incredible and you could even zoom in and see the water droplets on the petals. I mean, talk about taking care of them right before dropping them off (they also came in a water box).
