Saul is a complete clown. I feel sorry for anyone getting suckered by this guy, myself included. I ordered A $450 seat with 3 extra inches and then the next day asked him to make it 4" and he said no problem, just 10 more dollars. Tells me the seat will be ready in 4-6 weeks. I pay the $10 two weeks later. Then a week later he tells me he didn't have time make the change but the seat is ready... Excuse me, I told you 3 weeks ago -well before any work started -and you said no problem. Now he refuses to make it right and threatened to take me to small claims court, in NJ, lol. I had 2 chairs I inherited from my parents that needed to be redone in leather. Saul's had the leather in house which was the perfect color. I ordered a custom seat for my e bike and was really looking forward to the new look. Unfortunately when we received the seat, the quality didn't live up to the expectations. Symmetrically the seat was just off, way off. My son didn't want to say anything at first, but when he saw my disappointment he knew why. To spend $400 plus and feel this way is not a good feeling. What a joke. This clown collected payment 8 weeks ago, didn't respond to a single email, answer calls or return messages. Finally after 8 weeks I get him on the phone and he tells me this won't go well for me because I'm upset and frustrated then hangs up on me. I rarely give 5 stars... I enjoyed meeting Saul and his wife. They were friendly and helpful in explaining which materials were best for our cushions. We were delighted when Saul brought in the cushions, we examined them and found they were wrong. I called, Saul came the next day picked them up and returned them perfectly done within a week. I'd been feeling nervous to reupholster an old chair that belonged to my grandmother because I didn't want it to lose its character, but they did a wonderful job. I called Saul in Jan 2016 to give me a price on my 4 antique dining room chairs. He was not cheap but reasonably priced. It took me almost a year to purchase my own 3 fabrics. By Jan 2017 I had the last of the 3 fabrics. He picked the chairs up and they were done in 2 days and delivered at no extra charge. I gave him exact instruction on the gimp with nails and the seats with piping. Chairs back and front are a printed design and was cut exactly to match on all chairs. They are stunning! It is easy to give Saul and his wife a five star rating, we wish we could give them 10 stars! They are absolutely wonderful to work with. They are so knowledgeable and truly listen to what we wanted. We had 4 family dining room chairs which were needlepointed. They were in such disrepair but somehow Saul and his wife were able to masterfully bring them back to life, both the wood legs and arms and the cushioned backs and seats. They are absolutely beautiful and beyond anything we could have imagined. Now when we enjoy our family dinners we think of all our relatives who dined on the chairs. I am so happy! We had all the furniture in our living room reupholstered and they did a fantastic job! We have a sofa from 1951 that has huge sentimental value and it is now in perfect condition! They completely rebuilt the structure of the sofa and polished all the wood trim. They also reupholstered a recliner, chair, and footstool. They custom made a window seat that is absolutely perfect! Marcia helped us chose coordinating fabrics and suggested trim and accent pillows that brought everything to the next level. Saul's craftsmanship is just outstanding. I had a club chair and an ottoman redone. They picked up the chair professionally, and told me when it should be completed. When it came time to be completed they kept giving me excuses why it was not ready. About six weeks later they said it was done. It didn't bother me to much. When it arrived the back cushion was different then the original one, the new one has the seam along the top with piping, the original chair had one seam in the back so the top was smooth and it did not have piping. I do not like the piping. The cushions they used are super hard, similar to an extra firm mattress without a pillow top. They put the same piping around the ottoman. They basically turned my chair into a cheap hard decoration that no one will sit in. I should have purchased a new chair even if to cost more. I don't think they care. When I brought the chair in they saw the original cushion, I thought they were going to duplicate it, they didn't, The look of the chair is different. Now months later I still have not received the arm covers. I hate dealing with these issues, ugh! read more

Walked in to get info on reupholstering a leather couch. Went over different swatches and all measurements were taken by the owner. He sent me home with swatches and told me to match the materials. He took my phone number and told me he would call me with a price off the two swatches I had picked. Forward 4 weeks I don't hear from them and still have his swatch books. I then call the store to ask if they were open so I could drop swatches off they said they were there til 7 pm mind u it was 4 pm when I called. I run right over get there at 4:30 to find the woman on her way out about to lock the store up! Ummmm I just called 15 min ago u said you were open til 7 why is the door being locked. Anyway she lets me in I give her the swatches and I ask her why no one has called me with a price!?! She then took the sample swatches I had picked and again took my info and measurements of the couch and said they would call me next few days! Another 4 weeks later still haven't heard from them!
