She was always excited to go when we pulled up and never hesitated when they came to take her from us. We always felt completely comfortable leaving her in their care. A few weeks ago, we dropped her off on a Thursday for a 10-day stay. The following Tuesday, the owner called me to let me know that she was refusing to get up. He asked if she had recently been showing any stubbornness about going outside. He said she had eaten fine that morning but that he had noticed a decline in her energy. He told me he would keep a close eye on her and call me back with an update. About an hour later, he called again and said that her breathing appeared to be labored and that they recommended she be seen by a veterinarian. They offered to transport her to my vet, even though it was a 28-minute drive from Musbro. I called the vet to give them a heads-up, but after hearing about her symptoms, they recommended that she go straight to an emergency hospital. Once again, Musbro offered to take her wherever I wanted. I chose VEG in Nanuet because it was the closest option. The owner's daughter personally drove our girl there, gave me her personal number so I could reach her directly, kept me updated throughout the entire process, and stayed with her the whole time. Unfortunately, an emergency ultrasound revealed that she had a tumor on her spleen that had ruptured. Sadly, something like this can remain hidden until it's too late, and there was nothing that could be done. We were 14 hours away and would not have made it home in time. Knowing that she wasn't alone means more to us than I can put into words. If I couldn't be there with her at the end, I am so grateful that she had a familiar and caring face by her side. We are absolutely heartbroken to have lost our baby, but we are incredibly grateful for the love, compassion, and quick action Musbro showed our family. I am especially thankful that they recognized the change in her behavior so quickly, got her the care she needed, and helped prevent her from suffering any longer than necessary. I have always recommended Musbro to others, and I will continue to do so. I wouldn't think twice about trusting them in the future. They treated our girl like she was their own, and for that, we will always be grateful. If you are looking for someone to care for your dog when you can't be there, I cannot recommend Musbro highly enough. Knowing how they cared for our girl when we were 14 hours away is something our family will never forget.

The walkers that came to us were wonderful. They respected our home, rules, and always treated our dogs like they were their own. Aylin was normally assigned to our pups. She would always send us great photos and updates from her 30 minute walks/ playdates with the dogs. She took the time to figure out what worked best for our two. The dogs, or The Cheesies as she called them, were always thrilled to see her. Our dog, Reggie, also went to daycare at their facility for a few weeks, but because of his dog reactivity/ easy overstimulation, we decided that utilizing their walking service would be better for him. I loved that they picked him up from home for us. Their services really helped us out and made us not have to worry about how we would get him to and from the facility. Dr. Kelly Hogan barely spent five minutes with him, never gave me a diagnosis, and charged nearly $300 for an exam, a shot, and an antibiotic. She simply said, "Take him home, he'll be fine." She also told me she would email me all the information about my puppy's visit, but the only thing she sent was the receipt--nothing else. When I went to Premier Pet Care's website to check my puppy's records, there was no additional information available. I followed her instructions exactly, giving my puppy the antibiotic as directed. Two days later, he died. I am absolutely devastated and feel like I trusted the wrong vet. If she had taken the time to properly assess him or given me a real diagnosis, maybe things would have been different. I do not feel Dr. Kelly Hogan meets the Standard of Veterinary Excellence. I will never forgive myself for taking my puppy here. I wish I had gone ANYWHERE ELSE. Please, if you love your pets, do not bring them to Premier Pet Care.
