First, they made me buy a casket for the week as they have no provision fir rentals. Second, my sister-in-law warned me that they put bright red lipstick on her uncle and he "looked like The Joker". I asked for something neutral and got bright salmon. Obviously no one reads yelp when a loved one has passed but i hope this will help someone or they will improve their service.

Fast forward 12 years later, my mother passed this Feb and Steve the new funeral director helped us this time around. Steve was also very kind and helpful. Communications were rapid and right to the point, and amazingly understanding. It is so important at the time of grieve to have this type of communication.

He was compassionate, friendly, helpful, etc. He is truly great at his profession. He guided me as I made all the arrangements, answered all my questions, including how he even came to work in this field, and was very accommodating. For a truly tragic time for my family, Chris and Coleman & Daniels were exceptional.

She requested to remain with her husband always and forever. Mikeska funeral home listened to his needs in a very difficult time. Although his step children did not agree with the outcome that her husband wanted, mikeska handled the situation professionally .

Kurt was the utmost compassionate and patient and went above and beyond and out of his way to enable my father's services to occur the way I had hoped them to, all while being mindful of cost. Kurt is knowledgeable, sympathetic, and impressively always answers the phone after only a ring or two. Funeral director was extremely rude. Following the funeral we were directed to file past coffin…read moreand give our last goodbyes... we were suddenly interupted with shouting that there was a time table to keep and to hurry it along. This man also yelled at FAMILY members to exit immediately to their cars and stop loitering and give the family privacy. At the end of the burial service he once again instructed everyone, including family, to leave, the service was over. Total lack of compassion, these people have clearly been desensitized and are in this business for the sole purpose of making money. They are doing no service to the community, especially in the greatest time of need for compassion. On top of the attitude, there was NO parking, and seats were only set up for 50% of the people attending the funeral. The rest of us were instructed to stand.

Six years ago, we met them and did a preplanned Funeral, fastforward, this past week, everything was done as planned, with no surprises from original plan.
