I have been waiting to write this review until after my job search experience was over, so it wouldn't look like I was sucking up to the recruiters or anything. But now that I found a great new role, and I can assure all of you that I have no possible ulterior motives, I just had to jump on here and write them a review -- because I couldn't have more nice things to say about Savage Search Associates. I've been in my industry a long time, I've worked with many job placement agencies and recruiters, and SSA were by far the best I've ever interacted with. I didn't even hire them myself, all I did was apply to a role they were managing for one of their clients. And almost immediately after I applied online, Kristina from Savage called me and we chatted for over an hour about the role and my background. Kristina, and the head of the firm Lina, were so incredibly helpful and thoughtful. Often as an applicant you can feel like just another number in a long line of applicants, hoping an AI or algorithm flags your resume keywords or something. But as soon as I applied and was identified as a viable candidate for the role, Kristina started helping me personally, almost like a coach for going after this one specific position. And again, I didn't even hire them! The employer (now my current company!) did, and even so I was still handled with an amazing level of care and consideration by SSA. They worked with me well beyond the usual interview tips. They really made sure that I was a good fit for the role by getting to know me as a person, not just a resume. I was up for several roles at a few great companies at this time, and I really might have pursued some of them much harder had I not been made to feel as so valuable and qualified by SSA. So if you're an employer looking for top talent, as someone who (at least on paper) is one of those "top talents" in my industry, you will not be able to do any better than Savage when it comes to attracting the right kinds of applicants. The value they provided my now current employer went well beyond just throwing up job postings and finding candidates and sending resumes. They really worked to sell me on the role, and to make sure I'd be a great fit for their client. I'm starting an amazing new job next week and I couldn't be happier about it, and it's all thanks to Savage Search Associates.
