I recently came to see Dr. Savaglio to update my eyeglasses prescription. He was so welcoming and transparent. Instead of just pushing a brand of contacts, I felt a part of the decision and he was honest about his preferences and why he leaned one way vs. another. I didn't plan on getting glasses, and my prescription didn't change too drastically, so he showed me what my vision would look like with and without new glasses to match my updated contact prescription, and wasn't pushy at all when I didn't end up purchasing new glasses too. I didn't wait long in the office and chatted with the ladies at the front desk...everyone was super friendly. When I received my contacts, which were conveniently shipped to my home, I was so surprised to also receive a wedding congratulations card! I had mentioned in our small talk during my appointment I was getting married this summer, and couldn't believe he remembered it let alone took the time to send a card, with signatures from entire office! I have NEVER had a doctors office do something like that, and have always just felt like "another customer". I truly appreciated the genuineness and will definitely be a returning client. read more

Eye doctor is completely wonderful. He did an outstanding job with a thorough eye exam. The one star review is not for him. The one star review is for the front office staff. Asked to speak with owner and was told "he's too busy with patients." I told them it's fine, he can call me later. Was told "he'll have patients then too." So if you have a complaint, don't bother trying to get the issue resolved the front office screens all phone calls. read more

At first I was pleased when I went to them for the VERY first time in Feb. 2021. I was going for contacts. They made me pay up front for the contacts. But failed to inform me that all sales were final it is now 2 MONTHS after my appt. I still do not have contacts as my work schedule and their hours of operation do not collide. I asked for a refund as I am no longer interested in contacts as it isn't worth the headache for me. As I only need contacts in ONE eye ONLY! But they refused to offer me a refund but also FAILED to inform me prior to purchasing that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If I would have known this I would not have paid up front for contacts as I have NEVER done this at any other eye doctor in the past. I will NEVER go back to this eye Dr. because they did not handle this well with me. I do not recommend this place as they should be up front with NEW PATIENTS! They offered a credit on my account but my husband as already had an appt. since and will not be going for another year. So, no matter what I lose. I initially went to them as they were highly recommended from people on Facebook. But I will continue to use Thomas Eye Care. They have always been great to us! read more

There are several doctors with this last name, yet when Kortnee, called to confirm the appointment the day before. she neglected to inform me of this fact. When I arrived at the wrong address having arrived 10 minutes early, I called the office to find out what was happening, THAT is when she told me and proudly reminded me of their punctuality policy and that now I would need to be rescheduled. That would have been irritating, but when she went on to tell me about the other eye doctor and a dentist with the same name in Kenosha, that this was a common name in the area, and the same thing had occurred to SEVERAL other patients, too, that's when I got really ticked off. The final straw was when she told me that their address is on all their correspondence and I could have seen the right address there. Telling me that THIS frequently occurring issue that their office is completely aware of was MY fault, a new patient should have known. As I was having that conversation, I drove to the proper location. The doctor was in the facility, OBVIOUSLY not seeing patients, since i would have been the only one. There was NOBODY else in the office. He could have shown up to talk to me, but nope. Stayed in his office. The other two women in the office, who had never spoken to me, decided to reinforce that this was my mistake. I've been a receptionist for twenty years and NEVER blamed the patient for this kind of event. Kortnee proceeded to tell me I was not her boss, she just does what the boss tells her to do. At which point, I realized that if they would not take responsibility for this screw up on their part, I knew what would happen if the doctor made a mistake on my Rx or on the fit of the glasses. Go somewhere else where they will take responsibility and apologize for any mess they create. read more

Excellent eye doctor. Went here to get my daughters eye checked due to it being red and irritated. The doctor was very thorough with checking her eye and was genuinely concerned with her well being. Didn't make us feel rushed and we made the appointment at last minute and he was able to see me that same day. My daughter freaked out a little and he did a great job calming her down. I was on vacation and had a piece of sand get stuck in my eye. I called the doctor at home to let him know what was happening, he told me to call him back when I got into town and he would meet me at the office. Needless to say my flight were delayed until 8pm and he met me at his office at 9pm cause he knew I was in such pain. Really what wonderful customer service. And yes I had a huge piece of sand stuck to my eyelid that could of cause some real damage had he not seen me....Thank you!!!!! read more
