Not all Chiropractors are of the same caliber, as you can imagine. After my first 2 visits, I can confidentially say, with my experience, that Dr. Domanski is someone you can trust your spine with. I will be putting my body back as a priority and getting regular care between the two cities I bounce between. My experience with Crossroads Chiropractic & Wellness: I was in immense pain, in my shoulder, starting 3 days ago that was limiting my daily activities and sleep. I toggled with the idea of finding a new Chiropractor in Savannah since I don't live here but visit monthly. I researched and found Dr. Domanski. I knew it would be worth a try if they were seeing new patients (they are and were SO helpful to get me in immediately, THANK YOU!). PROs: - Excellent adjustment by Dr. Domanski (which is not always easy on a very stiff patient). He also has a great way of explaining your diagnosis and what your x-rays say about what your spine is doing. (Which I needed since I haven't been getting regular care in over 3 years) - Friendly and knowledgeable staff - Efficient service and respectful of your time - Quick digital x-rays - Clean office - Plenty of therapy options to help you get the treatment you need. - Part of the Maximized Living family, which allows for further education to patients on your health & wellness (had this at a previous office in another city). - Convenient location CONs: None. I will update review as I continue care with Dr. Domanski. But all I can say, is give him a try if you have any concerns about your overall wellbeing. If you're reading this review and have never been to a Chiropractor, I honestly would say this is your place to get familiar with the process. It can be scary when you don't know what to expect but your body may have more of a story to tell than you realize and it's all natural healing that can make you feel so much better and be your best. The building is in a pretty secluded spot so you don't have to worry about parking. The inside is very clean, organized, and smells good. The VA scheduled to have me do a physical exam with them as well, and the doctor who performed it was VERY knowledgeable about everything and gave me a ton of information about myself that I didn't even know. I've seen doctors for my injuries since 2016, so it was a pretty big deal to get this kind of information. He was also very friendly and made me feel very comfortable during the process. He also let me drink my free coffee during the exam, which was appreciated since my cup was still hot . After my exam I had a massage by a gentleman named Tom and he was very professional and performed his job insanely well. Definitely the best massage I have ever had, and I've been to many massage therapists countrywide. He used a massage gun called the Thumper, and it worked wonders on the arthritis in my back and neck. They often would get you started on an exercise and then go work with someone else. Multi-tasking doesn't seem right when it's your health involved. And, surprisingly, results were mixed. If I got better it was because I did more than was asked. I often got impatient with therapists who wanted me to do the same exercises in front of them that I had been doing at home. No thanks. When I read that Cornerstone dedicated their scheduled time to you, I had to see. So post surgery, I went and met my therapist Andrew. Wow. What a concept-a dedicated therapist who took time to evaluate, plan, push and support. Incredibly knowledgeable and insightful. He knew I did my exercises every day and each visit was an addition and extension. He worked with me directly and didn't have me do bogus time killers like 10 minutes of spinning a wheel while he tended to other things. He gave me new things to do at home every visit. As a result, I made great progress. In fact, he even told me that after 5 visits he thought i had progressed enough to stop coming in! Even though I had medical authorization for more! He loaded me up with a home program and my recovery has been better than expected. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed. They aren't all created equal.
