I moved to the area over four years ago. The first place I was desperate to find was a good dentist. I found Dr. Chad and his staff a few weeks after moving here. I read countless reviews at multiple different offices. I tried his and loved it. Myself and two of my children travel 54 miles each visit. I would not change that. Well, actually I did try one other location and it just wasn't like Dr. Chad's. The staff here is like family. Very understanding and welcoming. They listen to every concern without judgement. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. I feel at home when I visit. I stated a five year plan when I first became a patient, and I'm nearly done. I've have everything done. I've been to a number of Savannah dentists and, when I was referred to Dr. Schnabel I felt like I'd finally found my dentist. He is in practice with his wife, who I've not seen, but he is kind, considerate, listens attentively to your issues, and just overall a great doctor. Really could not recommend him more highly. The office vibe, however, could use some improvement. The first thing that you notice - and that stays with you throughout your visit - is the 80s 'classic rock' station. And in no place in the office can you get away from the music - it's piped in everywhere. I really don't need to hear 'Livin on a Prayer' or the like while I'm getting my teeth cleaned. Really annoying. Why can't there be either no music or something soothing? read more

Hello Savannah & World For Doctor Chad Schnabel, DMD 1st. I absolutely have to thank the Good Lord for such a compassionate soul in this young man, Doctor Chad Schnabel! In deed he is an awesome & unique individual. I remember when I first encountered him at Dr. Bosque's office first impression was wow, this guy is pretty cool and has such an kind spirit that illuminates peace and love. I really felt his love for people when he shake my hand. A hand shake to me speaks volumes. It's great when you're not afraid to touch people, and he touched my heart, truly he did. By the way I am not exaggerating. I deal often with people whom profess to love, but there hearts are far from it in their actions toward you and lack of expressing love. So, needless to say I always await a hand shake from this doctor and his kind smile and greeting. He never let's me down. Certainly he's a goodly man I'd believe everywhere he goes :-) FASTFORD. Reluctant to get filling procedure done! I've had fillings many times growing up, a few in my adulthood and I just hate the presence of feeling them afterward. I canceled my appt for the procedure a month before or 2 this year. I guess all of a sudden I just could not shake old experiences and the feeling that my teeth were longer than before. However, my husband insisted I go ahead and reschedule. I did reschedule and I almost canceled that one. FASTFORD... Sept 2012 Dr. Chad did my fillings. I made it to office. Doctor Chad Schnabel came in room with his wonderful set apart spirit smiling and greeting. I did not have to get a needle. Whew! Thank God! He did my fillings and I felt at peace more and more. The work was done and guess what? I did not feel the fillings afterward when I bit down. Now that's a 1st for me. WooHoo! You're the Scoop Doctor Super Star. I am seriously amazed. Initial visit was May 19, 2022 after looking for a dentist due to relocation to Savannah. Went good, but I did not have a "warm and fuzzy" feeling about my decision. Fast forward to today, October 6, 2022 when I had to contact the dental office due to a tooth ache. Called about 15 minutes before 8:30 office opening, so I left a message as to reason for my call. Received a text stating the office was closed and how can I be helped. Since I left a message, it is clear the response was automated because my voice message detailed reason for my call. I text back at 8:17 a.m. with reason for my call. At 8:49 a.m. I received another text that said "Where is tooth that is hurting you, Upper/lower"). I had provided this information in the voice message, which I informed this person in initial text that a voice message was left. The response was (I am paraphrasing a bit) that the doctor did not have any available openings for awhile and a note would be placed on the schedule so if a cancellation occurs they could call to see if it works for me. This was 9:12 am. My text back was "In the meantime what is suggested? I have an aching tooth! What is the meaing of "for awhile? Be specific! This texting is awful!" I got a phone call at that point. The staffer repeated what she said in the text and I again asked what am I to do about the aching tooth. She began to attempt to chastise me for not following my Treatment Plan. I said "Excuse Me!" I had no intention of having a tooth extracted that was not hurting me at the time, and the issue at hand today is what is suggested I do since the dentist will not see me today? I even asked about the other dentist. Why can't I be seen by that dentist? Response was that this dentist is only in at limited times (mind you, this is the dentist I saw on my initial visit in May 2022). I was told the dentist in the office today was going to be in sedation with a patient for about 3 hours and when he is done, she would find out what he suggests I do and she would contact me. I never received a call back. This incident confirms why I did not get a "warm and fuzzy" feeling about choosing Savannah Dental Solutions for my dental care. No "Compassion" for patients! After moving to Savannah I was worried about finding a dentist that I could trust. I'd had some bad experiences in the past and didn't want to risk my dental health to just any ol' dentist. Thankfully I felt very comfortable with the staff and left feeling confident about the level of care I recieved. I came in with a dental emergency and was seen immediately. I have EXTREME anxiety when it comes to dental procedures and I had broken a crown and a tooth. My situation was assessed quickly and I was scheduled for the next day for the first of two procedures. Every step was explained to me, which really helped to ease my anxiety. I switched to Dr. Chad after my previous dentist moved his office to a less convenient location. Not only is their location convenient, there's plenty of parking. There was not a long wait and you can tell the staff is happy to work there. Everyone was friendly and professional. I was given more detail about my gums, etc. than any dentist ever provided before. The cleaning was as painless as I've had and I was impressed at their ability to get me in & out. I don't hesitate to recommend this practice and often do. read more

If you don't have a dentist or you have one you don't LOVE look no further. I had not been to the dentist in 3+ years (no insurance) and had a tooth/gum hurting I was able to get an appointment fast. They did a full exam (full x-rays) cleaning and polishing, all for there great new patient price. Doctor Schnabel and staff were able to determine I had a sore gum due to build up, fix it and literally made my mouth feel better immediately (This may not be the case for you..all mouths are different) and best of all no one at any time tried to sell me any additional items. I will be a regular patient of Dr. Schnabel's for years to come. So glad I found his office. He also had a less aggressive treatment strategy for my husband who went just after me because I was so pleased.. My husband has always had more dental needs than me. Dr. Chad even offered to sedate him and hardly anyone in the area has access to that type of treatment. I will be recommending all of my friend and family to Dr. Chad's Office! read more

My 9 year old son had 5 teeth that had to be removed. We had a few consultations scheduled but cancelled the others after our meeting with Dr. Chad. My son immediately took to his good nature and Dr. Chad explained the whole procedure in a way that my son could understand...then told my wife and I from a parent standpoint. The day of the appointment came and my son was understandably nervous. We got to the office and within minutes he was back in the room so there wasn't any time to sit and think about it. Within an hour we were back on the road home, my son did so well that he only required 1 dose of children's Tylenol that afternoon for pain. I will never go to this office again. They are very happy to berate patients on flossing and brushing and are quick to judge. I would much rather go to a dentist that is understanding of people's fears of dentists. After receiving a phone call from the dentist asking me to take down my review I obliged. Only to receive a bill later on. Apparently, my insurance isn't in network so they can charge anything they want and you have to pay the difference. A routine cleaning on a 6 year old that is covered by insurance shouldn't come with a bill as well. This is what is wrong with the medical profession. It's sketchy for sure. Don't go to this practice. There are much better ethical dentists. read more

I can't praise this dental practice any higher! I was there for a wisdom tooth removal, and I don't remember too much after the procedure. But the service prior to the procedure was phenomenal.
