I strange sente here for treatment. Supposed to be once or 2x a week but they only scheduled me 1x every 2 weeks, 1 hour sessions. Saw the chiropractor first time for the evaluation about 40 minutes. Next time for about 5 minutes, because he was late for a meeting. Third time I sat in the room for over a half hour and never saw him before I got up and left, canceling all future appointments. I have been a patient at SAVAS on and off for nearly 10 years. It is now 2025 and SAVAS is CURRENTLY one of the best run health and wellness centers in the entire Coachella Valley. They have really gotten their program together. Currently have Excellent medical staff, especially Carol, great therapists and chiropractors, staff, Etc.. Savas Health Rancho Mirage is the worst location to get pain management. You will get ultra layers of stress and no pain management. Everybody is lousy, unprofessional, disorganized, and rude. It's a nightmare! Even managers do not respond to your complaint. They want people they can manipulate in their scammy business. They pretend to be "holistic" but only provide stress! You never see the providers you want or need to see. They will screw you up over and over again. They will prescribe meds or a diet that could be 'fatal' or give serious side effects if you follow or take them. They are horrible! Horrible! Horrible! I WILL NEVER SAY IT ENOUGH. Been my office for years in Indio What Tobias SHOULD be doing is taking AWAY his "Call Center" where strangers answer yet I can't seem to get in touch with ANYONE at the Indio Location DURING BUSINESS HOURS ( and not during Lunch) Then to be lectured to by some woman who mumbles when she answers and saying we are the call center this is how it works!! Ammm No because I have been a patient there LONGER than the call center was put it place When you call Dr. Carreon Drive location now no matter what extension the menu says to push now automatically rolls in individuals voicemail! YET when you hit the number for NEW PATIENT OF COURSE THAT GOEZ THROUGH TO THE CALL CENTER! Why is this happening and if you have too many inbound calls hire more people for phones- this place is so successful it's unfortunate to see other medical offices and personnel are streamlining their game with better software and flow of traffic create more depts in each office Here's a thought MOVE INDIO AFTER 15 yrs to a bigger office maybe? This facility is an absolute joke. They have the worst service I've ever experienced in the medical profession. You can't ever get a hold of anyone because they purposely made it confusing and inconvenient. If you leave messages nobody ever gets back and even when you do finally get an employee they never do anything. They'll just say they'll work on it and nothing ever gets done. I highly recommend you call your insurance provider and file a complaint with them. If you have issues with pain management they won't take it serious and don't care about filling prescriptions on time and making sure that the patient is satisfied. Again do NOT go here and if you do just reach out to your insurance provider and file a complaint and then call the state of California Department of insurance consumer hotline to file complaints because theses all add up and they will lose their contracts with companies like IEHP with many complaints. read more

I have to apologize to Savas health all of the staff and employees and Carol who's been extremely helpful and listens to me and spends time with me. I was too quick to judge the way they handle patients and schedule and I will recommend them, especially to go in and see Carol if you live with chronic pain like I do. I cannot imagine being in their shoes being in the health industry all of the patients they see day by day hour by hour minute by minute, every kind of injury and just all the different kinds of people. One thing I've learned is pain does make a person angry but another thing I've learned is the doctors today. Do not deserve any kind of harsh treatment not with what they do. so my recommendation to anybody out there with chronic pain may now or in the future go to Savas also known as life kind pain management , go in with a smile say good morning and have a good day. If I could give 0 stars I would. So, I was referred by my PCP to this pain clinic. Waited almost an hour from my appointment time, doctor comes in, says 'you have very impressive MRI'S and not in a good way" he then proceeds to speak to his nurse, NOT ME, something about a referral and then sets up an appointment a month later without asking me if the date/time was ok then some girl wearing a headset walks in and says their busy and I was sent away. No patient plan of care, no copy of any referral, no appointment card for whatever HE decided to set up and I'm charged $275 and ushered out the door. I called after their 2WEEKS off and was told oh sorry, all our doctors had 3 established patients each all day on the 19th and you shouldn't ever have been scheduled being a new patient on that day. I'll have our grievance department call you. Ok, maybe it's just me but if you actually have a grievance department doesn't that tell them something? Also, DID THIS GRIEVANCE DEPARTMENT CALL? Dr Ailinani and staff at savas Indio office are Unresponsive to phone messages. Left messages that I needed refills, nobody to receive and respond to phone calls. Many times when I call the answering machine is full and cannot receive any more messages. Even scheduled phone appointments are late. read more

I have problems with poor office staff in one of their clinics that I need to address. I see the owner named Tobius or Toby monitors these reviews.......so maybe he will message me and reach out since I can't get ahold of anyone who oversees these clinics (district manager maybe?) here in the Desert or knows who to talk to. Their office manager is worthless and I have tried several numbers and have gotten nowhere.....from stupid voice mails, to numbers that just give you the run around to clueless people that answer phones who have no idea who their head bosses are that oversee their clinics...yet they work for the company. Given the very poor ratings this business in all areas already has you would think someone in control would be interested in improving things....I hope Tobias messages me with a valid number so I can talk to someone in charge....or maybe this place should just go out of business. read more

I have been a patient for 6 years and have had excellent experience for the most part.. the act care is very good , my only issues have been getting has been getting the phones answered and if it was answered getting a response to my question. I had testing done and no one would respond... two months after... I had medication not added to my file after a visit and no response.. there are 20 of these attempts at various times it is an ongoing theme. If you never need a response by phone other than your scheduled visit I would say it's excellent care.. The Doctors contract fora period of 2 years and then move on, for the large majority the hiring has been consistent and very good. Have had periods where the provider wasn't up to the job, but they continue to monitor and make changes to bring the best healthcare they can. Even when a provider has been out they have provided excellent temporary help from other branches. Bottom line.... While you might have a few hiccups along the way, it's hard to find a group of more dedicated doctors or nurse practitioners as dedicated as these folks.. read more

Name is Gabe... 38 yrs old. Very active growing up and playing sports and contact sports as well (karate, boxing, soccer). By the age of 30... I was in total pain... Had 6 total dislocated shoulder on left arm and 1 dislocated shoulder on right arm. You name it... I had it all. Hip, neck, shoulder, knees, pain even in the groin. I wasn't sure what was happening to me... Was all the years of work and stress that wear me down.. came to the point where I couldn't even go out or date anyone cause of pain and depression. I was at another clinic before I arrived at Savas Health... And this clinic is 10 times better. At central city in indio... They keep giving me the round n round, and almost seem they didn't even want me to get better and thought sometimes... They want to keep me sick... To make money. So I left central city and went to Savas... And I was inpatient and had OCD as well... So after an hours wait... I was beginning to question whether I came to the right place? Finally someone came out... And since June of 2022... They been working with me and helping me bounce back to my old days. I got surgery on the left shoulder and now this year I'm getting surgery on the right in May. I'm very content and happy with the results and treatment I get from Savas Health. All the ladies that work there are awesome and the Doctors are great in communicating and making sure that they take care of whatever patient comes through the door. I can't wait to start working out, playing sports and dating again. Thanks to the whole team that works there... And everybody evolved. Heads up to whoever does plan to get treatment at this clinic... Waiting time is minimum 30 mins... So if you're inpatient or have a busy schedule... I went in for the doctor Tobias to check my x-rays as I had a few over the years from the VA Hospital and I wanted to know if my knee's were getting worse or the same, and to have it documented that they were getting worse for my case with Social Security and he only spent a few minutes and said that I have arthritis, no kidding I already knew that from the VA Hospital, no injections, no medicines, no letter to state how my knee's were. I can say the only thing he was good for was taking my 300.00 for nothing. I would not recommend this clinic unless you want to lose your money. I should complain with my credit card company to get my money back and went to a real doctor to check my knee's The other is I was to take my mom for her appointment at the Indio office as she has her insurance is with them. We called to verify the appointment and they said the receptionist did not put in the appointment into the computer. I was told that the patient has to make sure the appointment is made. Ok, if it was not made how did we have the card with the appointment time and date if it was not made. My mother was out of medicines and in pain and now has to wait for another appointment. My mom was so upset that she trip and fell to the ground and was in so much pain. I will have to file with the medical board and IEHP to have this girl fired for her stupidity. I will have to find my mom a new doctor after being with them for years. read more

I had my first appointment today with Dr. Ramos at the Indio Clinic. I was very pleased to have a doctor who will take his time and really listen to all of my concerns. He was also kind enough to hear what I have gone through in the past, as well as what worked and what did not. He took more than enough time with me and never made me feel rushed. I will gladly return to my next appointment and drive an hour and a half to get there from my home in Imperial Valley. I would like to recommend Dr. Ramos of the Desert Pain and Wellness Clinic. I recently have had an excellent experience and found relief from my current issue with the sacral area. I have previously had trouble with the area requiring surgery and the insertion of rods into the lower back. Dr.Ramos found further bulging disc, inflammation and stenosis causing constant pain which severely interfered with daily activities, sleep and which further exacerbated health issues such as Fibromyalgia, Parkinsons Disease and Arthritis. I am quite a challenge to doctors and am determined not to become a patient with a victim's mentality. I did not want to add more drugs. Dr Ramos was thorough, professional and knowledgeable. He even has a sense of humor and listens well. We tried the least invasive treatment of physical therapy first. When this was not adequate he prescribed a course of 3 epidural shot into the nerve that was inflamed causing pressure on the nerve and creating painful havoc. He was very skilled and accurately placed the ant-inflamtory substance right in the nerve calming it down and relieving the pressure. If this does not last we have a secondary course of action to pursue when I return to my primary residence. He has given me hope and a course of action to replace the frustration, pain, and discouragement. He listened and honored my concerns of adding further medications. I am now riding my bike 10 miles, and took my first adapted golf lesson. Life once again has possibilities and a positive future.
