When I returned Sophie had it all ready for pick up. I was super impressed by her handwriting and just had to compliment her having the prettiest writing anyone has ever done for me on a cake and that's saying alot since I'm in my 70's and have ordered so many in my life! Both are really great grocery stores. There's one Bakery employee and her name is Ann and she is the friendliest lady working in a Publix ever!! She likes customers and she helps folks too. The cashier, Johnny, was friendly and clearly working hard, but when he asked for help bagging from three nearby employees, he was ignored while they continued talking amongst themselves. I ended up bagging my own groceries, which I don't mind--but it was frustrating to see a hardworking employee not receive support when help was readily available. At one point, an employee even made eye contact with me while I was bagging and then walked away. This seemed less like a staffing issue and more like a lack of teamwork or oversight. I hope management can look into this, because employees like Johnny deserve better support.
