I had a turkey and ham sandwich on rye. The sandwich was packed with meat, cheese and fresh toppings. This was the best sandwich that I have had in a long time and it was $3.99. There is no place to eat inside, so you must take your food to go. The staff were friendly and efficient. The cheeses are amazing and flavorful. I picked up horseradish and bacon cheeses. The prices are reasonable. You can even buy chicken coups and outbuildings. There was an extensive collection of bird food and custom feeders. We ordered in the morning and up until nearly 7 PM did not have much understanding of what was going on and frankly still don't. Because of the 3rd party w/o going into detail seems to have a great deal of power here, Steve spent a long day talking to a very frustrated, not pleased me in trying to understand what was going and, what wasn't. I want to reiterate that this was in no manner the fault of the Walmart Store, Management, or Employees. This is all a problem with the 3rd party upper Management has employed for delivery. Steve had offered to have my groceries delivered by, Steve. The Store Manager. I declined as this is not his responsibility. We continued to try to resolve the matter by making the responsible party perform their job to no avail. In my last conversation with Steve (Store Manager) that his Assistant Manager, Robert, was on his way to my home with needed food items. While waiting Steve continued to be calm (I have my moments but I try) as Steve was so patient. I'm usually fairly nice but was seriously stressed. Steve wished me a Happy Thanksgiving, was very calm, very professional, very courteous. I finally stopped talking and we hung up and a few minutes later, Robert was in front of the house. Robert (Assistant Manager) brought the groceries to my door and would not accept any gratuity. I could only thank him and compliment him at 1-800-WALMART and, by writing this long-winded review which is part of my problem kind like, diarrhea. Lol Thank you so much Steve and Robert at Walmart here in New Castle, IN. I hope they had a HAPPY THANKSGIVING along with a few drinks!!!!
