Mike Basti is an absolute wizard. We had one nice rate with him and then he reached out to me when he found an even better deal for us. He even somehow managed to get us an even better rate with Quicken than Quicken offered me directly, with almost no fees. And we only had to submit minimal documents, and didn't even have to get an appraisal. Absolutely painless. By far, the best experience I've had with a re-fi in 30 years and I've done more than I care to remember. But this 15-year 2.25% is definitely going to be my last. Any cheaper and the bank will be paying us :-). Even after our loan was closed, he gave me a great referral for a HELOC, and then followed up to see how it went.
