I paid $60 bucks for my 26th Birthday cake and this is what I get...I'm so very very very Upset and Angry!

Usually I don't get sandwiches from save mart but I have been recently. Today I was super disappointed. I went int to get a sandwich at the deli. I usually get the turkey sandwich like this one. The person that helped me usually give me more turkey than this. But today, it seems like they're just serving me bread, cheese, and lettuce from what I see. I questioned the person that made the sandwich but she just shrugged it off stating we weigh the turkey. I understand it's by weight but honestly speaking by looking at the picture, do you even see any turkey at all? I can even get a better sandwich at subway for $5.99. Sorry savemart but I am not coming back. Hope business goes well still with the type of sandwiches you made.

This Save Mart is a whole lot fancier than the ones I am familiar with in Bakersfield. There is a great selection of products, the store is really clean, and the aisles are nice and wide. The prices were very reasonable and many things were on sale. The things that really stood out for me were the deli and produce departments. Everything was very nicely displayed. The produce looked like it was in large wooden crates and everything was so bright and colorful, very healthy looking, and nothing was at all overripe or blemished. I was here to pick up a few supplies I forgot to pack for a weekend visit. I actually found a deodorant I like better than the one I usually use, Tom's of Maine lavender scented, mmm... I also picked up a few snack items, and the cashier was all smiles while checking me out. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

    Happy 50th Anniversary Cake

Save Mart bakery on Walnut & Akers in Visalia did a fantastic job on this 50th Anniversary Cake. Ordered it on 11/10/19 and picked it up on 11/11/19. It's so pretty and the white cake with lemon filling was a big hit. Moist cake with great flavor. She did a beautiful job incorporating the look I was hoping for with the gold and touch of black. Great price, quick turn around. Nice Job! (You might notice the upper right corner of the cake has a goof. We bumped the cake before I had a chance to take the photo, our fault, oops!)

Long lines, no express checkout, and no self checkout. This grocery store is usually last on my list.

Her work is gorgeous! He is right. Not only is the bakery absolutely beautiful, but every pastry looks like a little piece of art. You can tell how much love, care, and attention to detail goes into everything they create. And the best part is that it all tastes AMAZING. Seriously the best I've ever had. My mom loves these pastries too. Worth every penny I love supporting local businesses, especially when they're run by people who are this passionate and hardworking. If you're thinking about stopping by, do it! You will not regret it. The pastries are incredible, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the owners make the experience even more special. I know I didn't have to say "Pan Dulce" but I like saying it and you should too! It's not often you stop at a wonderful Bakery like this. The people are all so friendly, inviting and helpful. Yes some are fluent in Spanish only and that's ok, it really brings extra charm to the place. Every bread, cookie, donut you taste from here is being made with love and recipes dating back years and lifetimes. We finally stopped by and the truck was Open! They have a food truck where they make breakfast and lunch items. They had an Asada Burrito, "which can be made as a breakfast burrito", but I opted for the lunch version. The nice girl taking my order spoke more Spanish than English but I managed to understand "Con Todo" meaning "with everything", that comes with (beans, rice, cabbage, onions, cilantro). It was just ok. The meat really didn't have flavor, nor did the rice and beans. I tasted more cabbage than anything. The salsas were good, it just wasn't enough to carry the overall flavor of the burrito. I would suggest absolutely getting some pastries from here. They have a wide selection and you grab yourself a pan and some tongs at the entrance and have at it. The taco truck I would suggest maybe trying breakfast over lunch, but again my taste buds might differ from yours.

I've definitely been coming here since the beginning (before patio seating and mobile orders) haha thanks to my mom! It's stood out from the very beginning & I love how much they have expanded (3 locations now -- Visalia, Tulare, Fresno). There's something for everyone on their Menu. I personally believe that they have some of the best matcha's around. BUT... if you drink your matcha with LOTS of sweetener, you probably won't like a real matcha from here -- I say this because some will complain that it taste like GRASS... and well, it damn near is (green tea leaves) lol--all jokes aside, their drinks and food are all hand crafted and all made and / or roasted in house! I have not once ever had a complaint about this place. I love the ambience inside and out.. definitely a favorite here in Visalia! Service and time... always as expected. You are getting hand crafted drinks and food, so don't expect them to rush. ****Rush hour in the am and during lunch hours**** The workers are always very knowledgeable about their menu items & products. This was a Huge plus for me, because sometimes I like to ask the employees for their recommendations or personal favorites! They usually end up being pretty darn good Their pop tarts... if you can get them when they have them.. TRY THEM OUT!! Actually, all their pastry's and breakfast items are delicious! (I just always forget to take pictures) haha my mom loves their avo or seasonal toast/ my dad loves the breakfast burritos! I will always come here for food/homemade pastries, a drink, to work, or to hang out with my loved ones! Thank you Component team for making every visit a good one

You find it because someone told you about it, or because you were looking for a place that feels a little more city than Central Valley. Brick walls, hanging art, a patio out front call it rustic, call it urban, call it hipster. Whatever the word is, it fits. Inside, the place hums. Not the quiet hum of a sleepy café, but the full‑volume buzz of people who treat coffee shops like co‑working spaces. The whole back section was a sea of laptops when I walked in, a slow tide of remote workers drifting out as the hour passed. Young folks, older folks, groups talking over each other a mix that tells you this spot has become a kind of community hub, even if the noise makes it hard to read without noise‑canceling buds. I came for a simple moment, a London Fog and a book. The tea was good, made with Rishi, a brand I'd never heard of but wouldn't mind trying again. I sipped it slowly, trying to sink into the page, but the chatter kept pulling me back to the room. Not a bad thing, just not the right place for quiet reflection. Some cafés are built for solitude; this one is built for motion. The staff was friendly, your standard modern barista crew, casual, quick, and easygoing. They run a tight operation, even offering mobile orders, something you usually see in bigger industrial coffee spots. Pastries, sandwiches, teas, espresso, the menu covers all the bases. Finding the entrance was its own adventure. Two doors, a divider in the middle, and a moment of "Wait... which side do I go through?" Not a dealbreaker, just one of those quirks that makes you laugh once you figure it out. Lighting is interesting here, low lamps mixed with a flood of natural light pouring in from the center of the shop. It gives the place a warm‑meets‑industrial feel, like a café that grew out of a warehouse and decided to keep the personality. Will I come back? Maybe. It's a great spot for people‑watching, conversation, or getting work done. But for reading, for sinking into a book with a drink, it's a place that demands either silence from the world or silence from your earbuds. Component Coffee Lab is loud, lively, and loved, just not quiet. And maybe that's the point.
