Bread Savage in downtown Visalia .... Hell Yah! Busy is an under statement, it's like everyone in the city heard about this place at the same time. Line just kept forming and was continuous. They do have some tables and chairs to eat at inside. Ohh the pastries, ohh my ! What a choice... all looked delicious, hard to make decisions. If I had the money, I'd just be a piggy and order one of everything. The cafe drinks ... ordered a coffee, Carmel macchiato and a salted maple cold brew. That cold brew was bomb as hell! Sweet, but not overpowering at all. Perfect combo! Can't wait to try more! Bread savage your drinks are delicious and nice and fresh!

I just researched a lot about gut health & the emphasis was on sour dough & how healthy it is but only if it is fermented. & I know for a fact that there's is! Started from the owner's own STARTER! So another kudos to Bread Savage & a great reason to buy their fresh baked bread if you can get there in time. It's sold out regularly! But I'm pretty sure you can call ahead & have them save you some. Anyway Yelp asked me to update & I just thought I'd add that little tidbit!

Another Local Hidden Gem/ Favorite *I say hidden because most people miss it, like we Did the first time! FOOD: I got the Jalapeño Cheese Bagel w/ chives, SOOO Good, perfect spice! Apple Kolache.. literally MOUTH watering, perfectly sweetened, cream cheese filled pastry.... MY GOODNESS. ‍‍me & my husband shared both and I really wish we got our own SERVICE: was GREAT! The front lady happily took our order! AMBIANCE Was Nice, you can see the staff in the back making the pastries! I give props to the Cashier, because she warmed my bagel, got my cream cheese, boxed my pastry & made 2 Coffees for me in a great amount of time & it quickly got busy right after that! She deserves a Raise! an Older Couple came in AFTER me made it unpleasant they were talking about how my 2 pastry items & 2 coffees were "too much" and I was taking "too long" So, For the Impatient/IN A HURRY FOLKS.... GET THERE EARLIER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WAIT Thanks for a great experience this morning!

Bread Savage does the unthinkable when it comes to a pastry shop in our small town of Visalia. It took everything we "thought" we knew when it comes to pastries and completely blew our minds! We tried several of the items being put fresh into the case, "all baked the morning of", while also grabbing a loaf of plain sourdough bread for tonight's dinner. We got the Pain au chocolat, blueberry danish, a mango danish, city muffin "which the owner graciously gave us to try" thank you for that! The Lemon Meringue, some pastry that has Tokyo Miso in the name, "which was incredible!" When I say these were the most buttery, flaky, crackling croissants and pastries you'll ever have! I mean it! This is true to the art form that is baking! The Pain au chocolat aka chocolate croissant was the BEST we've EVER had! This place gets busy! We showed up 5 before 7am when they open and they already started forming a small line. By the time we got inside, the line was forming towards the door. It's absolutely beautiful on the inside with some seating, more grab and go, which is nice, cause it's nice to take these delicious pastries and enjoy in the comfort of your own home. Skip any place you've ever gone for a croissant or pastry cause this is the only spot you're gonna wanna come to after you experience the love thats been put into every delicious treat you get from here. I never truly knew you could taste "care and love" in food until trying this place. The service is phenomenal, the owner and the staff are the sunshine and brightness to start your day! Beyond wonderful! Absolutely a must try, this incredible shop tucked away next to Starbucks on Main far exceeds anything you'll find in Tulare County when it comes to pastries and breads. If you haven't experienced the magic that this crew brings to this town, stop reading this and come down here! They're open from 7am-4pm Mon-Sat and 9am-3pm on Sundays. Thank you Bread Savage for completely changing the game when it comes to top tier quality pastries! We are sitting in anticipation, waiting for our next visit.

Ran in for a loaf of their amazing sourdough and decided to try the Egg Salad Sandwich. Ahhhh! Don't sleep on it yall, it is AMAZING! Service is always amazing and the cute speckled bagel decor in the wall gives the store an even cuter vibe. Obsessed.

Very delicious food and pastries. I got a Jalapeño cheddar bagel 4/5 , goat cheese pastry 5/5 (SO GOOD) and a cinnamon orange casserole 3.5/5 (was too dry) . Staff were SUPER nice and helpful. Store was cute and had little bagels hanging with I thought was cute. Ill be back :)

This is a cute hole in the wall if you love fresh breads and pastries, which I do! The Raspberry and Blueberry Danishes are my favorite, my family loves the City muffins as well! Theres a cute little table area looking out the window to Main Street if you want to sit inside.

Genuinely the best bakery. I've tried a few items on their menu and I'd rate them all a 10. The cruffcakes are incredible!

This place is super cute and you won't be disappointed by the pastry selections. Ate a pineapple upside down pastry which was tasty, flaky, and pretty to look at too! The person working was super helpful and we ended up taking some items to go. Will definitely go back to try the sourdough.

Cracks mean a discount on this pumpkin pie--really, as tasty as crack-free.

Bakery with counter service and limited indoor seating. Excellent baked goods: if you try just one thing, recommend the sourdough. They have a nice and rotating variety of choices: different bagels, many pastries, etc. It's fun to see what's available, but if you have something specific in mind consider a pre-order (3 days in advance). They also offer coffee. Pro tip to stretch your dollar here: sometimes you can get baked goods having minor imperfections at a discount, for example pumpkin pie having a cracked surface. Likewise, "yesterday's sourdough" is a little less expensive.

This is a cute artisan bakery. I saw someone reviewing it on instagram and I had to try. The service was great. Everyone was very welcoming. I was convinced on trying the blue berry croissant but when I got there I changed my mind and went with an almond croissant. I don't regret it. It was light, flaky and the custard very creamy. A wonderful treat. It is a little on the pricey side but I think for every now and then I would pay the price. It was really good!! And maybe next time I'll try the blueberry croissant.

THE 'STAR'; LEMON MERINGUE DANISH (back)! Pumpkin Meringue Danish (front) with hint of nutmeg! FANTASTIC!

I know I didn't have to say "Pan Dulce" but I like saying it and you should too! It's not often you stop at a wonderful Bakery like this. The people are all so friendly, inviting and helpful. Yes some are fluent in Spanish only and that's ok, it really brings extra charm to the place. Every bread, cookie, donut you taste from here is being made with love and recipes dating back years and lifetimes. We finally stopped by and the truck was Open! They have a food truck where they make breakfast and lunch items. They had an Asada Burrito, "which can be made as a breakfast burrito", but I opted for the lunch version. The nice girl taking my order spoke more Spanish than English but I managed to understand "Con Todo" meaning "with everything", that comes with (beans, rice, cabbage, onions, cilantro). It was just ok. The meat really didn't have flavor, nor did the rice and beans. I tasted more cabbage than anything. The salsas were good, it just wasn't enough to carry the overall flavor of the burrito. I would suggest absolutely getting some pastries from here. They have a wide selection and you grab yourself a pan and some tongs at the entrance and have at it. The taco truck I would suggest maybe trying breakfast over lunch, but again my taste buds might differ from yours.

I specifically informed the staff that I am allergic to almonds and asked if the lemon bars contained almonds. I was told they did not. However, after taking a bite, I discovered that the lemon bar did contain almonds. This situation is extremely concerning because a nut allergy can be life-threatening. What makes this worse is that when I attempted to call the store, the phone lines were down. We had to ask the restaurant next door (Masuruas) to bring their phone over so we could reach someone. Only then did the staff admit, "oh yes, it has coconut... oh, and almonds too." This level of misinformation is dangerous and unacceptable. Individuals with allergies rely on accurate information from staff to make safe choices. A mistake like this could have resulted in a severe medical emergency.
