It's always significantly cleaner than other gas stations at their price point 2. Shopping reward credits (Duh) 3. They have diesel at every pump! Not all stations have that and when you drive something as big as I do it's so nice to have options. 4. I've also never rolled up where it's been so busy that I'm waiting for a pump. I can always drive right in and out. One day when electric trucks are finally an option (should be soon!) I'll likely convert. Until then... places like the Safeway Gas station are my friend!

I stopped in top gas up this big rental suburban we use for our field location work with my crew. Manteca mean "lard" in Spanish ... guess I thought I'd throw that in there ... like a city of lard! Anyhow, Costco Gas usually has the cheapest gas around, though there's not much cheap gas around, especially when the vehicle you're driving gets like 12-14 mpg! I like the hoses here at Costco, cause they're long and can stretch to either side of the vehicle, just watch the traffic trying to squeeze through to get out or to the unoccupied pumps, if you're on the far side filling up. I'm glad this isn't Oregon, where they have attendants that fill you vehicle. The card readers read super reliable and fast, not like some of those no name cheap places where you think your card might get skimmed on the pump or something. All gassed up and ready to go! Now it's time for lunch!

I have not seen Pappy Van Winkle in a gas station in a long time. Mast of the prices for the allocated spirits were reasonable and I was tempted. I may have to stop by again on my way back home.

Early this year they suddenly had "Out of Order" signs written on the bathroom door. But one of the employees told me they allow customers to use it, so I was still able to use their restrooms. Suddenly a few weeks ago I stopped in, filled my tank with gas, walked inside and asked to use the restroom. The cashier told me I couldn't. I asked him "Really? In the past you've allowed customers to use the restroom and I just put gas in my tank" His answer "Nope sorry, can't use it." I called the next day to inform him it's illegal to deny public restrooms because of their location, he hung up on me. I was in an accident last year that caused permanent internal organ damage and I don't feel that I need to explain it everywhere I go, but they've lost my business forever. This is ridiculous because the reality is their lazy ass employees just don't want to have to clean the restrooms. What a joke

When I walked in the operator of the gas station immediately accused me of smoking at the pumps. I was not smoking at the pumps and said no, I was throwing away my trash. I do not smoke. She then continued to talk trash about me to the customers. How can you be so rude and throwing accusations to a customer?
