No dressing rooms and they don't allow returns. They don't even have store credit. You have to exchange whatever didn't fit for something else of the same price... and good luck with that. If you can't find anything, you literally just lose your money. Seems illegal. Not thrift store pricing. They want to sell a pair of used jeans for $40.00!! The employees couldn't care less. They are a FOR PROFIT corporation. NOTHIN IS RETURNABLE. They get free donations for all their products that they sell. You can't try on clothes first but they allow you to return for CREDIT ONLY in 14 days. NOTHING ELSE IS returnable for your money or The clothes are dirty and smell, overpriced and for the most part, in my opinion 90% are crap. There were dresses for 19.99, so that's a ton for used clothing, but I thought I'd take a look since I was there. I saw one cute dress, and they were asking 49.99 for used clothing. I put everything back except a vest I did buy. I'm returning it tomorrow, I'll buy a couple of kitchen items and I will NEVER go there again. There are several great thrift stores and all of them are non profit and use the profits for people that need help. There is good will just a couple of blocks away, and Idaho youth ranch, they donate all the profits to helping at risk youth and I think some adults too. Deseret (affiliated with church of jesus christ latter day saints)is a good place, a little low on quality inventory but they get some nice homemade furniture that church members make and donate to help children and help people in need, I was one of those people once when I got out of an abusive violent marriage 30 years ago, they helped me with clothing for my kids and food for us until I could get back on my feet, and btw I was not in their church they still helped me and asked nothing in return. Check out yelp for other good shops, there are quite a few. Savers is the only one that I would call CRAP. The ladies that work there are nice, I have no problem with them, they are polite and friendly that is the only reason they get one star. Otherwise it would be negative 5. read more

They refused my return "until I was done shopping" so I got $60 worth of stuff so it was a straight across trade and then they refused to exchange because I couldn't find my receipt So they made me "donate" my $60 of clothing I brought to return and buy another $60 worth. Savers is a for profit business with over 300 locations. Their prices are very high for used merchandise. In Nampa, Idaho they eliminated dressing rooms during the pandemic and will not allow people to use their restrooms to try on merchandise. If something does not fit they will only allow a store credit. once they have your money no matter what is wrong you will not get a refund. I have been in Savers for the last time and suggest that you do the same. read more

I bought $300 worth of items. I had a question about exchanging two items this morning that I purchased 3 days ago, tags still attached with the receipt and everyone who answered the phones this morning pretended like they couldn't hear me. I know they could in fact hear me, because I heard another employee go "just hang up I don't want to deal with exchanges". I was told 14 days with the tags attached and the receipt, that I can exchange the items. Pretending like you can't hear a customer who is just asking a simple question is absurd and childish. I have always purchased here, but they need new employees who are trained to answer simple questions. read more

I think it's overpriced. Used pants for $9 (when I can get new ones at Ross across the road for $15-20) seems excessive and when my child who's concerned about fashion can usually find a pair of used Hollister jeans at other thrift stores for $5-6 before the 1/2 off is applied, if it's the right color of price tag. $9 for a donated hat, even if it's new, als seems excessive. Yes they have overhead. Yes it may be contributing to a charitable cause, though I don't know about what Saver's contributes to besides the local economy and my 1 child's thrift store obsession! if i could give this dump 0 stars, i would. last week my mom and i went here to do some clothes shopping, and when we discovered that this place had no fitting rooms, we decided to just buy what we had, and we could return anything that didn't fit. i spent 40 bucks on like 4 things, which is ridiculous in the first place. i thought thrift stores were supposed to be affordable. anyways, we went home and tried everything on. my mom had one dress that didn't fit, and i had two that didn't fit. today, exactly one week later, we went back to savers to return the three items. the employee told us they didn't do returns, they only do exchanges. what?? we were told to do some shopping and we could exchange what we found for what we had brought back. i found two skirts and a sweater, and my mom decided to just get some jewelry. in total, the two dresses that i had wanted to return were 22.58. my moms dress was about 19 dollars. when we got up to the register, the employee that had originally told us to exchange out items, told my mom that because her necklace, which was 15 dollars, was not exactly OR GREATER than her dress that she originally bought, we couldnt do the exchange. why the hell does the price have to match up EXACTLY, or be GREATER THAN WHAT WE WANT TO RETURN??? SAVERS: YOU ALREADY HAVE MY MONEY. As other reviewers have stated, some of the prices are too high. However, I can usually find good deals on nice-ish clothing and the selection turns over pretty quickly. I also enjoy going through the book section and I can find the occasional nice teacup set (yes, I like nice teacups​!). Staff is indifferent most of the time, but that's not a bad thing to me. Also, if you enroll in the Yelp cash back program you get 7% back on purchases, which helps bring prices down a bit :) The cash back is deposited to your card a couple weeks after you shop, so it's not immediate - but it does work. read more

I love their clothes selection BUT their prices are so high you can buy new for close to what they are asking. On eBay you can find them cheaper! Not unusual to pay $7-$15 per item. That is so high!!! They are a FOR PROFIT agency and it shows. They use to be my favorite thrift store but now I just think they are expensive and there are a ton of other thrift stores in the area with clothes way way cheaper. I've been going to the Nampa (and Boise) Savers since they opened, along with all the other thrift stores in the Treasure Valley. I can tell you Savers has gotten VERY GREEDY! Prices have jacked up a lot over the last few years. They might have an item in 'very good' condition, and they are listing the price at the same as you would buy it NEW! grrrr! And you cant find a decent mans button down shirt for under $12.99 (and UP), when they're around only $4.00 at Goodwill & IYR! Give me a break! Savers is great obviously for their fair prices and large selection but every time I go I feel like I'm going to get buried by the massive amounts of unorganized merchandise . It feels a little overwhelming because it takes a lot of effort to dig through stuff to score the perfect find. BUYER BEWARE!!! Very disappointed in Savers return policy, which is essentially no returns. During these difficult times they've put a ban on trying on clothes, so you have to take them home to try on. That's fair. But then they won't refund what doesn't fit when you bring them back after trying on. AND they will only give you a credit towards a purchase on the same day that you return the items that didn't fit. I personally view this policy as theft of their customers money. read more

Some staff very good at saving our premium items for their "friends", themselves, or their co-workers. Will do what it takes (including removing tags, etc) to see that you cannot buy the item. Then the item is all of a sudden "sold". Dishonest. read more

The nampa idaho savers location has some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I went to check out and they accused me of poppin tags and went back and re priced my items making them way more expensive. If I could put -0 I so would Bought a costume after the 14th of October, had a situation and called in to ask if I could return the 100$ items I had in costumes. I was told after the 14th no Halloween costumes could be returned. I then said nobody said anything at the time of purchase and the SUPERVISOR decided to tell me "as a consumer you should've checked the bottom of your receipt, there's nothing I can do" excuse me? Teach your employees how to communicate with their clients and teach yourself how to treat customers, use empathy like EVERY other customer service representative. When Savers has the big 50% off sales (4th of July) the place is packed with AMAZING finds!!!!! Plus, as a senior I get the 30% off Tuesday discount. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful!! The place is clean and well organized and well labeled. There is an amazing book section and the kids toys are clean and cheaply priced. Got an amazing stuffy for my dog for $1.99. Plus, there is lots of parking. A/C for summer months and large change rooms. Definitely 5 stars from me!! No complaints. read more

great selection, but the prices r somewhat high. goodwill & iyr have much better prices. i'd b interested in knowing what they pay their employees, from management on down. hopefully they pay them well, tho i've heard from many employees over the yrs, that management treats them like crap, at least at the nampa store. then there's this supervisor/manager b**** that every time i bring something in cuz they overcharged me, which happens once in a while, she implies that i'm ripping them off. next time, i'll call corporate to discuss her future employment w/the company. the other managers/supervisors seem to b nice. read more
