I have now gone to this Savers multiple times with friends and we have all found a lot of great clothing, games, equipment, appliances, etc! I have saved a lot of money and enjoyed my time. I love this place. Clean and neat atmosphere. Friendly staff and great selection. My only complaint is some of the items are are over priced. Yeah sure names brand, great quality blah blah blah but this is second hand stuff people. I found the cutest shirt there for $16. SIXTEENS DOLLARS??? for someone elses shirt? Huge selection but not always "saving" and definitely not cheaper than Goodwill as I saw someone comment. Prices range from $12-$30 for a sweater. The company does understand these items are "used" right? Not brand new. read more

There's one employee in particular, who when stocking clothing on racks, insists upon going right into my face, I'm not even kidding, shoving a hanger two inches right in front of me, without so much as an "Excuse me", startling me and invading my space. This store is clean and well organized. Books are plentiful, cheap and in excellent condition.

Horrible customer service. Young rude people. Not all but a majority & the manager is just as ghetto.

We generally go there for paperback and kids books, and some toys. Once in a while a vase. Generally we've seen the array of products fairly good, the hours are decent, but the employees are often slower than snails, registers not staffed well, often they are way too chatty with customers so they take forever, and often they are rude. This week one line was backed up, and so I went toward the other line. The customer had just finished and the checkout woman also left the register with a carriage. I asked her if she was open, and she said no. She could give a flying fajita about customers. Someone should explain that without happy customers she has no job. Double duh.This was not the first time we experienced surely and rude employees who think working is not a valuable use of their time. Wake up. Hire experienced polite older "sales" people instead of babbling young kids with no Hello, How are you today etc...prices are going higher where you can shop at regular dept. stores for these prices...store is always dirty, kids running around like a playground...went downhill since it opened and it's sad because it really was a great store back then but, sadly it doesn't seem it will be like that again. read more

I'll be honest, this store has gone waaaaaaay downhill over the past 6 months to a year. When it opened I LOVED it here! Great prices, friendly help, big selection & new stuff all the time. Now the aesthetics are getting pretty bad. Parents coming in & letting their children run amuck using toys and leaving them in the aisles! Where is the Manager on duty? Broken toys all over the floor, unclean merchandise in housewares, grimy looking shoes, this store is starting to smell like rancid milk when you walk inside, and their prices? OMG! They have gone up so much it's crazy! This is second hand stuff people not brand new! I can sometimes buy new items for cheaper then some used ones from here now? Their restrooms are nasty, they do not have an adequate amount of help on the registers EVER, really long wait times. Cashiers seem young & inattentive to say the least...such a disappointing turn for the worst. I really hope someone is able to step it up & make this place great again and FAST? SMH read more

I used to shop at savers pretty often, but more recently I've noticed a lot of the price tags are greedy. A (worn) JCrew coat for $69.99, just too high for second hand 100% donated (possibly defective) clothing that I can't really return (just exchange within a week) I did some research and I'm disappointed with Savers portraying themselves as a charitable organization. Last year over the 315 store chain $900 billion in profits that's what really bugs me. read more

When I first went to Savers, I was impressed that it was color coordinated and was kept cleaned. Months, later that's a whole different scenario. Customer service skills? Sorry, not available there. It's management fault for hiring the wrong individuals for the job. Months ago, I remember seeing a male customer walking back & forth desperately looking for something. Then I heard over the loud speaker they were looking for a blue canvas bag. I saw him walk by again and decided to ask him what happened. Apparently while his wife was distracted, someone stole her canvas bag. I felt so sorry for them as he was very anxious because their car keys were in the bag. I did not see employees trying to help him. The front supervisor was calling the cops, I guess to view their cameras. I asked them what area where they at and decided to help in the search. He said that he looked everywhere under the cloths rack. I asked him if he checked the restrooms. He proceeded to search there. I decided to look in the furniture area which was about 2 lanes where it went missing. I saw a sofa with a tailored skirt and saw something underneath that didn't seem right. I pulled it out and to my surprise, it was the missing canvas bag! I was so happy to see that the couple's anguish was over. Some items were taken, but at least they had their car keys. Ever since that experience, I stay very alert and closed to my elderly mom. They had heir baby with them too. Thanks God it wasn't their child! read more

After 3 years,I am done! Today,a busy Saturday,2 registers only-of course, I picked the wrong one.The woman in front of me did not have enough money and was digging thru her purse for pennies,dimes however patience is a virtue.Ten minutes into this,the new cashier looks at me and say's"Sorry,I can't take you,you have to go to another line" I look at Daisey,a very nice cashier and say this is wrong-he cannot do this! She explains to him he needs to finish his line-he is torn because "the back" wanted him-at that point,"the back" called him again-I told him and Daisey completely unfair and left without my purchases. The other line had 10 people in it. As I reflect on this,I begin to realize that what I am really angry at is there is no sense of customer loyalty or appreciation-but why would anyone expect that??? I have witnessed many changes at this location and it seems they have more managers than ever yet the experiences I have had questions their new management style.You have the dealers in thei fighting with eachother over a bowl,the V.I.P dealers who somehow get to go "in the back" and the rude dealers that treat the good workers horribly!
