I visited this consignment store yesterday for the first time, since my regular consignment store in Monroe, CT closed last fall. I am so glad that I finally took the time to visit. Both the owner, Michelle, as well as Jill, could not have been more welcoming, helpful, and informative to both my daughter and I. They explained their system, which was almost identical to that of my former consignment shop. There was no odor of any kind in the store, that sometimes happens, and my daughter even purchased a summer dress. Today it was the first time I was here, and I enjoyed it. I'm visiting from New York, and I love to check shops, especially a consignment shop before I go back to the city. One thing there was no smell terrible. The second thing they got good pieces. I was able to score four pieces that I can't wait to style for my blog. Remember, as many consignments; the prices can be high and low. When it comes to customer service, they know the neighborhood, which I love when the shops know the community. I came across this consignment shop & was very curious. As I went in I was greeted with kindness and helped. I originally went in to peek around and see what gems I can possibly find. I love designer items as I grew up in NYC and my best friend is a fashion model she gives me great pointers on what to look for. I came across a TELFAR bag and was hesitant to purchase so I didn't I came back the next day super excited to make the purchase because of the owner and how our interaction was so I did I took the bag home and looked at it thoroughly. I came across some discrepancies as I know what I am looking for. I called the shop back and asked to speak with the owner and asked politely if I can return the bag as I think it is a counterfeit/ replica immediately she has an attitude change and said she's been doing this for 32 years or what not and was very hostile about what I was trying to explain to her. I was taken aback by the Owners attitude.. I went in the VERY next day and Michelle the owner comes in and said she feels insulted that I would think it's a fake bag and the women who brings in the merchandise is a regular and blah blah blah!! The facts are the bag is a fake and it is what it was. She gave me a refund with an attitude. I would never ever ever purchase from someone who cannot take constructive criticism and ownership of what could have been a mistake while authenticating . Here's the proof in pictures of what was sold to me VS Reputable shops online. My sister's Telfar bag also is made with 50% PU & 50% polyester with a LOT # most importantly. The owner was just not trying to hear it and didn't want to take accountability, you should value your customers opinion and be more understanding and truthful that YOU might not know everything. 0/10 for me sadly read more

I absolutely love this place!! It's a great addition to the Green area in Stratford! The owner Michele is such a knowledgeable and down to earth person! She was so easy to work with! The employees are also super polite and the store is always clean but packed with new merchandise constantly! If you're looking for designer clothing for less, this is the place to go!! The staff only accepts clothing that's in the current season which is great! I've updated my fall wardrobe at a great deal! Oh not to mention I stopped by over weekend to do a little shopping and to purchase a few things at the local bakery and I noticed they were taking donations for the Hurricane disaster victims!! This is a great place to shop! You can find incredible deals here. I just bought a pair of Timberland boots for $22 here yesterday. They have incredible tops, pants, shoes, dresses, purses, jewelry, scarves, shawls and more here for both men and women! High quality at a big discount. I have had such a great experience with this consignment shop. My family has both consigned with the shop and also been customers for about a year now. As a consignor, the owner and her team are always respectful but very selective with the quality of the merchandise they accept. They ensure that both the customer and the owner of the merchandise get the best balance of value. We have been very happy with our experience selling. Do not bother coming to this store. After I've repeatedly told her that my Versace bag was authenticated four times, she still claimed that it was fake. She is rude, unprofessional, and ghetto. Do not bother going to her store. You can do better at Plato's closet or somewhere else. She needs to check her nasty attitude and improve on her customer service.
