The employees are rude. They treat you like you are in the way. They put poallets and carts diagonally across isles and block entire isles and won't move for customers. We are treated as though we are fixtures to be rerouted because you are stocking an aisle. It's ridiculous that you don't train your employees to move to one side and leave aisles open. One time, the entire center aisle was blocked by pallets, and the only way to get to the registers was walk around the entire store. Ridiculous. If you don't want customers being there, and we are in the way, close the store while you are stocking items. Even your 3rd party distributers do it. It's rude and it's typical at your store. read more

I love it that you don't have to mess with coupons at Savmor. The price is what it is. No gimmicks like "buy 3 to get the sale price", etc. I love it that they put out boxes! If I ever need a box I can go there. Also I can grab a box if I don't have a bag or if I don't want to purchase a bag. I like that the self checkout is an option. Store is spacious and comfortable to shop in. The Corning location recently discontinued the salad bar and I was disappointed about that, but the Orland one still has it. Also I like it that they have bathrooms! Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Do most of my grocery shopping there! read more

Sav Mor has a very friendly staff, great variety of food to choose from, and clean environment! I enjoy shopping here when I can.

I usually shop here couple times a month as I live out in the country. But the last time I shopped here about a week ago I noticed their prices have gone way up. I always buy their in store made tortilla chips which usually are $1.98. But this last visit they were $3.98.?? And I noticed they were not the same thickness of chips. Instead they were much thinner. So they raised the price twice as much and made the chips twice as thin. I can understand raising prices on some items but not on everything. And if your gonna raise your prices would be fair if the buyer still got the same amount and quality of product. They should change their name to Sav Less. read more

This place sounds cool, but some of the staff are just mean. One employee in particular is Shawn (in his upper 40's), and he is a total asshole. He really does his best to make sure you have an awful experience. One of my items scanned up as the wrong price. He came over and asked me why I was being so cheap over a few dollars. I couldn't believe the nerve on this guy. I thought a store called SAVMOR would maybe help me SAVE MORE money. Instead I receive passive aggressive comments and disrespectful judgement. New building and already they're back to their disrespectful games. BLOCKING THE ISLES for one. Entrance/Exit games. And my all time new favorite....the dreaded "voucher" trap at self- check out. And then the other normals....high prices for tough meat...Peaches that are as hard as an apple, and taste like them too.....oh, and the compost pile they have going on under the frozen vegetables. Nope...I'm done with it. Really, any savings there MIGHT be is small, and just not worth it. read more

Wow this place. We bought some ice cream from this place and it had been previously melted. We inquired about it and they said yeah when the power went out from the specialized fibers some of the stuff in our coolers melted.... are you freaking kidding me why the hell are you still selling it then. We looked at all the freezer items and they are covered in a thick layer of ice. The boxes are all soft and mis shaped from thawing out. I just cant believe they are selling this crap. We will not be returning here. read more

I wrote the first review and that was a yr ago. I gave them one star. They definitely got to work sence last review. The new equipment was much needed and looks awesome. Who ever went through all the areas that needed attention did a great job. Us folks appreciate it. Meat section looks nice, same with your new freezers. Glad to have grocery store close to home but still have to go to safeway for some item but understandable becasue of size of store. Really enjoy produce from this store also seems to be half the price as safeway . Staff is always really friendly and they work hard!! read more

We shop there quite often. Good prices, the usual foods and friendly people. A specialty might that they have a large selection of supplies for Mexican cooking. If the meat department person is there, they are very helpful for advice or even to ask for something you don't see. read more

This is my neighborhood store, and I really like it. The prices are right, they have a good selection for a small store, and the cashiers are always really really helpful and friendly. I have never had a bad interaction with them, and they seem really happy. Yeah, they don't have *everything* - I have to go to Safeway for my sister's gluten-free pasta, and some of my vegetarian frozen stuff - but they have all the basics, at great prices.
