So you have to set your expectations correctly. Within 20 miles or more, there's really nothing else like a mall. Some of the stores are going to be a bit weird, or will go out of business after a few months, or whatever. As it is, this mall served its purpose; something for us to do for an hour or so to kill some time when it was raining. There was a book store that was not bad, and a foreign market which had some unique foods. If I lived in the area, I'm sure I'd be dropping the kids off here to run around and hang out for a while.

Hanna and Elle are outstanding florists and wonderful people to work with. My vision of flowers was was "pretty and lavender" and they took that and ran with it. My ceremony was originally meant to be outside but as the day got closer and the weather turned, Hanna made sure to be in touch with me and easily adjusted to doing the ceremony inside. Walking into the venue and seeing their work was incredible. The ceremony area was beautiful, the bud vases on the tables and along the mantels were so pretty and so perfect, me and my guests absolutely loved every detail. Hanna delivered the flowers to Beardslee, spent the afternoon setting up, and made sure to see me to give me and the bridesmaids our bouquets (which were STUNNING). From the initial consult all the way through to the wedding, she answered my questions, listened to my vision, and was all around amazing to work with. I can't recommend Mohican flowers enough, thank you Hanna and Elle!

But I love the girl I work with so I went, and I'm so glad I did! A lady owns this shop and is very kind. My guess is that she's into extreme couponing and resells the items that she gets. The shop is cute and full of all name brand products. I bought regular sized Pantene shampoo and conditioner for $2 each, Alpo dog treats were $1, regular sized Pert Plus shampoo was $1.50, Neutrogena face wash $3, and a large Dove body wash for $3. She had lots of other name brand shampoos, lotions and body washes, Tide laundry detergent, deodorant, tons of cleaning supplies, magic erasers, toilet paper, paper plates, air freshener and I could go on and on. Check this place out, you will save a ton of money on stuff you buy anyways.

Until I found Erin's Errands I had to take a bus to and a cab home from grocery store and still lug groceries up a long flight of stairs. So I made more trips with smaller loads which was costing me more money. Walmart began accepting EBT for online grocery orders but doesn't have delivery. Now I place my order, pay through my EBT card online, and Erin's Errands picks up the waiting order (they load) and brings all of it up to my apartment! She is so professional and organized. I would highly recommend her service for any job she performs, she really is THAT good. To date I have used her service three times and each time it's painless (for me)!!

I have poetic recall of visiting Clinton with my dad when I was a very young child. We stopped into Village Crossing On The Green women's clothing store and were both pleasantly surprised at the selection, quality and styles packed into one cozy store. I must have tried on over a dozen things, and had I not been budget conscious would have gotten many of them. As it was, I ended up with a wonderful stylish rayon tunic with crinkly fabric in deep tealish navy and black. I got some below the knee leggings to go with it....the leggings had extra style as well, sporting voile cuffs. My new fall outfit which I will wear VERY often! You can dress it up, you can dress it down. The perfect outfit. Most of the clothing there is made of luxurious linens, cottons and rayons, my favorite fabrics. The owner has a an extra special eye for garments that are cut in flattering and interesting ways. If this store were in my town in CA I would buy my whole wardrobe there.

I discovered this wonderful little shop thanks to my mom, who lives in nearby Utica. We always make it our priority to stop in to the Village Crossing where we spend hours perusing the colorful merchandise -- and the great sales! -- and having such fun. (One time my mom and I bought matching tops! I've never laughed so hard). The inventory -- lots of comfortable cotton dresses and tunics, some made in the USA -- is right up my alley, and the owner Joyce could not be nicer or more helpful. I am looking forward to my next shopping trip! Make sure you check out this terrific boutique next time you're in the Clinton area. You won't be disappointed.
