It was just the two of us so we were able to do each game repeatedly, which made it even more fun because it allowed us to figure out how to solve the puzzles. First, I want to say thank you to TopAct for helping me get 3 additional tickets so I could bring my friends along, I reached out to Oliver after seeing the event was sold out, and he was able to open the ticket sale back up for me so I could grab the additional tickets!! We were absolutely ecstatic!! The planning process is very well put together! We got our character sheets over a week in advance, which made it easy to start planning our outfits and get in character. Along with the character sheet was an overview of the murder as well as a list of suspects. I was very impressed by the detail that TopAct went into for the characters and event! You don't just get a name with a few clues, you get a whole page of information about your character that really helps you give the character depth, and you don't have to create a whole backstory yourself. Walking into the event, I was immediately impressed! The Martini Room was a great venue, and the decorations they placed (along with the dead body) really helped it feel 'on theme'. I could go on about how fun the event was, but I'll keep it relatively brief. The planning was fantastic, the TopAct reps guided us all through the evening and ensured we were mingling, talking, and looking for clues. I played one of the suspects, and it was probably the most fun to be one so if you have the chance, I recommend it :) They wrapped up the evening very well, and the murder was not incredibly easy to solve - which was great! It made you think, and not everyone was able to get the right answer in the end so it wasn't something you could solve in 10 minutes. Overall, a massive 5 stars to TopAct - I highly recommend!!!

We were given instructions/character sketches prior to the event so that we were ready to assume our characters as soon as we arrived. Most of the guests had wonderful 1920's attire on and were really involved in interacting with one another. The more people played their part, the more fun it became. The storyline was interesting to follow (and be a part of) as we worked to solve the mystery. Would definitely recommend for a fun night out as a date or with a group of friends.
