They arrived at my home last Tuesday and the team of two spent a few hours making everything squeaky clean, from the kitchen, to the floors, to the bathrooms. I was hesitant to start moving things in before getting everything cleaned up, because it's much harder to clean around items, but now that everything is clean, I've been able to get started! I originally had an appointment with them on Saturday, but asked if they could push it up to Thursday instead and they were so responsive and great with fitting me in on Thursday at 4 pm. On Thursday, they continued to be very responsive and great with communication via texting. They were late an hour due to traffic and also construction on the freeway, but they did reach out to me apologizing and letting me know ahead of time and their estimated time of arrival. The whole cleaning process took about 6 hours and 40 minutes. Once again, they were very communicative with letting me know when they think they'd be done and for me to head back over to inspect their work. When I arrived, I was honestly truly amazed. The place looked and smelled super clean. The place was spotless. They cleaned areas that I didn't even think to clean. You can tell they're very detail oriented. It was my Mom's birthday recently and as usual, she told us not to buy her anything. After inquiring with numerous cleaning businesses on Yelp, I noticed how responsive and professional Henry, from Maria's Cleaning, was and quickly received a quote from them of $280 for a whole house deep cleaning. For reference, the house is roughly 1,000 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Fast forward to the day of the house cleaning, Gala, our cleaner, was scheduled to arrive at 1:30PM. However, 1:30 came and went but no one showed up. We waited 5-10 minutes before I reached out and asked if anything was wrong. In fairness, Henry responded quickly and said there was an "unforeseen delay" and that she would be over in 5-10 minutes. Well, 10 minutes passed and still no one. Gala didn't arrive until shortly after 2:30PM, almost an hour after the scheduled time. Gala arrived and we helped her with her many cleaning supplies/equipment into the house, and she got right to work. She started with the bedrooms, and worked her way towards the front of the house. One slight problem was that Gala doesn't speak the best English and when my Mom asked her to focus on certain parts of the house, we weren't quite sure she understood us. However, she forged through and methodically went through the house. Gala probably didn't finish until close to 10PM, however, after she left we noticed a lot of missed areas, dusty corners/ceilings/walls, and some areas completely untouched. Honestly, we were surprised only one cleaner was sent as it felt more like a 2+ person job and as Maria's Cleaning wasn't the cheapest quote I received, I did have higher expectations for their services with a fee close to $300. Sadly, we were disappointed with the tardiness and overall with their cleaning services.
