We had a small shower with mold on the caulking and it really needed to be removed and re-caulked. Kirk was thorough in explaining what he would be doing and why he used the materials he did. He was also helpful in explaining how we can help avoid having so much mold in the first place. He spent several hours making sure the job was just right. I wouldn't hesitate to call GroutPro again for any future jobs. Recommended!

The grout was dark and no matter how much I cleaned, I could never get it to look better. Decided to check Yelp for companies around here with good ratings. Was able to make an appt easily with Evin to get a price quote. Our project took two full days. I was impressed at how diligently Derek and Kirk worked; it looked exhausting! Not inexpensive but you definitely get what you pay for. (Check out our before/after photos) Derek and Kirk worked tirelessly on our kitchen floors and on the second day, Derek spent all day on our two upstairs showers. The process for making the grout look brand new is very laborious and time-consuming but the finished product looks awesome! These guys were lying on the floor, pretty much with a fine-toothed comb, scrubbing the grout and applying sealant, etc. Topnotch work! Kirk was very knowledgeable and helpful. I learned the wet Swiffer is about the worst thing you can use on your tile! Derek was also very skilled and friendly. My only issues with GroutPro are these: * Prepare to wait. I was expecting to get a price quote immediately after the consultation, maybe 1-2 days later? However, after waiting 2 business days and then the weekend, I started wondering if maybe Kirk forgot about us. Then finally on the following Monday, we got the email quote. I guess I was excited about starting the project and couldn't wait! Fast forward to after our project---things were great and we were actually thinking of having GroutPro do more work. Texted the owner for a price quote and thought I'd get it within a week, but since it's been over a month, I'm thinking he forgot about us. So giving customers price quotes faster, as well as following up would be an area that GroutPro could improve on. * The hose that was used for cleaning our tile went from their van into our house. Not sure why they placed the hose on our lawn instead of the driveway but it ended up making some unsightly impressions in our front yard. I didn't really notice them until our neighbors pointed the marks out, thinking someone had ridden dirt bikes all over our grass. Turns out it was from the GroutPro hose. Other than that, we are super happy with our kitchen floors now. The tile and grout looks so much cleaner and brighter. Would recommend GroutPro to anyone looking to regrout their floors or showers. Unfortunately, about three weeks later, we noticed mildew and what appeared to be grout/sealant coming up around the shower drain. To make sure there wasn't an underlying plumbing issue, I had a plumber inspect the shower, and he confirmed that there is no shower leak. What is especially frustrating is that the company promotes a 3-year warranty, yet getting them to address an issue that appeared 3 weeks after the job was completed has been extremely difficult. I am also repeatedly being told that they cannot properly evaluate or cover the issue because the shower is wet and they can see water present. How does that make sense when this is a shower? Of course the shower will have water in it. I have a hard time understanding how the presence of water in a shower can be used as a reason not to honor the warranty or even inspect the workmanship. My initial experience with John, the technician, was very positive. He was friendly and professional. However, when I contacted the company about the problem, I experienced significant pushback from the owner, Amy's husband. The technician came back but ultimately spent only about 5-6 minutes addressing the issue , got mad at me and said he wouldnt return until a plumber came out? I already had a plumber come out.. I paid $940 for the shower and countertop work, so I expected the company to stand behind its workmanship--especially when the problem developed just weeks after the service. I'm a very disappointed EDH customer with both the workmanship and, more importantly, how the warranty issue has been handled. I hope the company will reconsider, stand behind its 3-year warranty, and make this right. At this point, I simply hope they will do the right thing and resolve the issue professionally.

I called to get an estimate for an urgent and unexpected repair I needed to prep my kitchen counter for painting (vintage blender was built into the counter, an electrician removed it and my tile paint guy {to his credit} said he was not qualified to fix it before he painted). I was in a jam. Mat, at Brooks Tile, emailed me almost immediately and told me he could not help me last-minute BUT he could refer a member of his crew to come over after hours and we'd deal directly with him. I got a call from his crew member very soon after, he came by to assess the job, and was able to fix it beautifully the next day. Mat even threw in the 4 x 4 tiles (about 11 of them) free to help me and his employee. Who does that nowadays? I give that commitment to assisting someone in need a 5-star rating. In 2018 I plan to tile my kitchen floor and Brooks Tile will be the first that I will contact for an estimate.
