It was my Mom's birthday recently and as usual, she told us not to buy her anything. So instead of a material gift, my sister and I thought having her house professionally cleaned would be thoughtful and appreciated. After inquiring with numerous cleaning businesses on Yelp, I noticed how responsive and professional Henry, from Maria's Cleaning, was and quickly received a quote from them of $280 for a whole house deep cleaning. For reference, the house is roughly 1,000 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Fast forward to the day of the house cleaning, Gala, our cleaner, was scheduled to arrive at 1:30PM. However, 1:30 came and went but no one showed up. We waited 5-10 minutes before I reached out and asked if anything was wrong. In fairness, Henry responded quickly and said there was an "unforeseen delay" and that she would be over in 5-10 minutes. Well, 10 minutes passed and still no one. Gala didn't arrive until shortly after 2:30PM, almost an hour after the scheduled time. Gala arrived and we helped her with her many cleaning supplies/equipment into the house, and she got right to work. She started with the bedrooms, and worked her way towards the front of the house. One slight problem was that Gala doesn't speak the best English and when my Mom asked her to focus on certain parts of the house, we weren't quite sure she understood us. However, she forged through and methodically went through the house. Gala probably didn't finish until close to 10PM, however, after she left we noticed a lot of missed areas, dusty corners/ceilings/walls, and some areas completely untouched. Honestly, we were surprised only one cleaner was sent as it felt more like a 2+ person job and as Maria's Cleaning wasn't the cheapest quote I received, I did have higher expectations for their services with a fee close to $300. Sadly, we were disappointed with the tardiness and overall with their cleaning services. read more

Lesia arrived promptly at the scheduled time for the deep cleaning of my home. I work and go to school full time, so keeping my home clean has been on the back burner for over 2 years! Although Lesia's primary language is not English, she has a translation app she used to communicate with me. I am very satisfied with her work! She worked efficiently and diligently. My home is brand new! I will try to keep up a regular cleaning schedule myself now that I have a clean slate. I would not recommend this company. I had my house "deep cleaned" yesterday (Friday). I spent half of my day cleaning what they did not. After the 2 women left I discovered... Dusty blinds A Dirty bathroom mirror Dirty baseboards throughout the house & Kitchen cabinets were not cleaned (as promised) Dirty dishes from the sink that they placed in my dishwasher and left them there without running the dishwasher. That is totally unacceptable! We did not receive the cleaning services promised & will never do business with this company again.
