Cottages are fully loaded except for linen. We do not supply linen. We also have R.V./ Camping spots with 30 amp service, town water,and sewer. Each cottage or site has a fire pit, picnic table or patio table and chairs. There is a nice sandy beach with a swim platform and a water slide. Playground on the beach. Paddle boats, bicycles, and a playhouse full of activities for that rainy day are all free to use. The Crowe River is great for fishing. It is a Muskie river which also has pike, pickerel and perch. Spend hours of fun on our fishing dock. We are walking distance to downtown Marmora and all the amenities but still keep that camp feeling.

Pros: The grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed our tent. Huckleberry was private and had the best view of the lake. The bed was super comfortable and had luxury linens. The soaker tub was great and we loved the fridge and coffee maker. The staff were extremely friendly! The live music at night was amazing! Jeff on the second night was incredible! His voice was outstanding! Cons: The price is insane and not a great value for money. You will pay $1,000 per day. We ended up paying 2K for 1.5 days. For that price, we could stay in a Deluxe suite at the Shangri-La hotel in Toronto for 2 nights. The food was good, but for what we paid, it was not at all worth it. For example, for dinner the first night, we had burgers. As a foodie, I have had some over the top burgers-truffle, foie gras, pork belly, lamb, etc. These were normal burgers with a bunch of toppings they provided with salad. One day they did chicken tacos. Again for the price we paid, we should have had lobster tacos or filet. Also drinks were not included. There was a glass of wine at dinner. For the price, it should be all Inclusive or allow guests to bring their own and be able to drink in common places. Our friends there said the s'mores were not good and costed them $8. Also our friends got the pizza and it was $30. The pizza was like a microwave pizza. The place even has wood fire pizzas. Also I am not a big fan of breakfast and I organized with Nina the venue coordinator to have more of a brunch basket. The pita and crackers were stale and the guacamole was brown. It was left over from the burger dinner. The croissant was also burnt. We also felt like there should have been more. Maybe a snack or dessert. The food choices and quality did not reflect the price. Honestly for the price, everyone should have had private chefs and been able to order what they wanted. Another aspect was not having a lot to do during the day. We all ended up hanging out by the pool. There was a wine tour, but it was walking in the woods with wine, not an actual winery. It would be better if there was a tasting set up at each spot. Overall it was a beautiful place and we did have a lot of fun. We wouldn't come back unless the price was $300-600 per night. We don't see the value in how expensive it is.

We didn't want to leave, will for sure be making this an annual trip, I want to live here for an entire summer, and I have started passing out gift cards to all my friends for Whispering Springs. If this doesn't show my love for this place I don't know what will. We stayed in the Canadiana tent the first night and then moved over to Meadowlark. The pictures do not at all do justice to the tents or the property. They were huge and so beautifully decorated. I honestly don't think you can go wrong no matter which tent you pick. We did enjoy the layout (being able to lay in bed and look straight out) and secludedness of Meadowlark slightly more than Canadiana, but again you really can't go wrong. After being on the property I would love to try Wildwood (the most secluded and with an outdoor shower), Huckleberry and Casablanca next. We arrived hungry, and they offered to deliver pizza to our tent, but we decided to sit on the patio by the Watering Hole instead. The wood fired pizza was delish. You can buy breakfast and dinner baskets, but they need to be ordered in advance. I had considered it, but decided not to, but will try it out next time. Otherwise we stocked up on food and snacks from the Foodland in town. I would recommend to pick it up all on your way- once we got there we didn't want to leave. We enjoyed the hot tub and played many of the lawn games - ladder ball, connect 4, corn bag toss, ping pong. There is just SO much to do and we didn't get around to it all - like the canoeing, paddle boarding/boating, massages will need to wait until next time. The property was lovely to walk around on. It would make an amazing wedding venue. We couldn't get over how stunning the entire property is. An absolute gem of a place. I also don't want to forget how fantastic all the staff were. They were all SO nice. You can tell they truly care about your experience and want to do a good job. I also really liked that this is an adults only destination. It was perfect!

We went camping at Sandbanks Provincial Park in early June. The park itself is well laid out, with…read morecomfort stations easily accessible from our campsite. The comfort stations were clean and well maintained. Our site was ok; it was perched on a hill, with stairs needed to access the site. This made going to the car for supplies a bit inconvenient. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the main beach due to thousands of minnows washed up on shore. Apparently, this is a natural phenomenon occurring from a temperature change in the water. However, we swam at Dunes Beach, which was a lovely experience. The sand was fine like powder, and the water was clean.

Love this place…read more Nice to walk around, close to nature. We visited in late September with my daughter, mom and step dad. We discovered an artwork setup by the park team right by the water and we all enjoyed making paintings. Just wanted to write you today to let you know how unprofessional one of your owners is. We booked…read morea trailer online back in March at Marmora KOA , Ontario. This is our second year at Marmora and the first time we had booked a cabin. We got there sat aug 18 at 3pm to check in and the manager advised our trailer was actually already taken. I showed her my confirmation and she seemed confused and continued to try her best to help rectify the situation. She told us to wait a few and she would go and see if she could find another trailer. She came back and advised all trailers were taken except for 1 older one and she would discount the price (120 instead of 160) as it was quite an old trailer. We decided to make the best of it and stay as we were already there and had packed everything we needed and had also driven 1.5 hours to get there. The manager mentioned there were a few issues with other customers as well and that sometimes when you book online doesnt match up with their system at Marmora. As we were waiting for our trailer to be cleaned another customer came into the office upset and advised that someone was already on the site they had just given her. And to top it off the manager then started telling us it was her day off but everyone had quit the day before so she had to be there (trying to make us feel bad but thats bad business in my opinion, it made me think, why did all the staff quit?!?) Needless to say it was upsetting , everything seemed so confused and we were just caught in the middle. Finally around 4pm-430pm our trailer was cleaned and we were able to have access. We got there and realized it was a very old trailer and didnt say rental on the side like the other rentals did. Trying to stay positive we unloaded our stuff and the manager came over to check on us. She said she couldnt find any keys for our trailer so we again decided to just make the best of it and make sure one of us stayed around the trailer over the time we were there as we could not lock it up. We ended up having a pretty good time swimming, rental bikes, fires etc. despite the mix up, and then the owner ROY decided to come over to our site as we were packing up Monday Aug 20th and he was NOT happy. He started out by saying "how many people are on this site?" We told him 7 as we had the trailer plus the manager advised my sister (who had also booked a tent site for the same time) to go ahead and tent on the same property as our trailer. The owner than said okay 7 people so which one of you gave us a negative review on facebook (note 3 of the 7 of us were kids and the owner did this in front of them also) My fiance advised ROY that it was him who left the review on saturday while we were waiting on a trailer to be cleaned as ours was taken, so yes we put an honest review on the facebook page as it was and still is the truth. Roy (the owner) started saying so many people now a days complain before they have a chance to fix the problems and he gave us a deal and got us in another trailer , basically he was upset we had put a negative review. He was RUDE and didnt want to listen, only yell at us. I was soooooooooooooooooooooooo upset, I was shaking I was so upset, I was shocked he was sitting there yelling at us like that. I honestly thought he was coming to appologize for all the mistakes when I first saw him coming over but I was very wrong. He was coming over to tell us how mad he was that we put an honest review on facebook. I have never been so upset, like I said we made the best of it and were actually just gonna leave the situation alone until the owner decided to come over as we were leaving and act like that. I decided after that scenario that you should really know whats going on at your parks (which are normally really great). I have attached pictures of what we were suppose to have and what we ended up with. The trailer they ended up giving us should not be rented out to anyone, yet brought to the scrap yard. Its a 1970's trailer that is falling apart, its mouse ridden and had none of the amenities we expected. We left most of our belongings in the car as we didnt want bugs/mice getting into it. Just thought you should know as this situation made it so we will NEVER return to Marmora KOA. I hope no one has to be treated like this while paying almost 300 dollars to stay in a mouse ridden, old trailer with a cruel owner. We also spent other money there on rental bikes , $40 fire wood and still ended up being treated horribly by the owner, who was offended about an honest review. Shame on him! Below is what we ended up paying for the trailer , which honestly needs to be on the NON rentals as it had mice feces everywhere, no plates or bowls , only a few utensils, no kettle like I had expected (although the manager did make sure she got me one) , i would have rather slept in a tent and paid 40 dollars except we didnt have a tent cause our reservations were for a trailer.
