I have worked with Sawsan multiple times, beginning with the birth of my youngest in 2021. Having had a c-section and then an unexpected appendectomy 4 days later, I was nervous about being "up" to having a newborn photo shoot...and there was a COVID wave. I also had a 2 year old who was not adjusting well to all the change, so I was on the brink of canceling. I'm so glad I didn't. SHE. IS. MAGIC. Sawsan came to my home, wore a face mask around my newborn, and found the best locations in our home with the perfect light. She was on time, extremely professional, and honored all of our wishes. I literally left her in the room with my newborn and watched from an adjoining room so that my hovering wouldn't disturb her creativity. The pictures were exactly what I hoped for. More importantly, as I wanted pictures of all 3 of our boys, Sawsan was completely prepared for my rambunctious 2 year old...he was no match for her skills. She was able to catch this truly magical moment of the first time my 2 year old got to hold his little brother. I will cherish these pictures forever. Our first experience with Sawsan came after ~6 years of no family photos because I was so unhappy with how I looked in pictures after pregnancy. I'd finally had enough of seeing cute pictures of my kids but I was never in them, so the search was on! It was easy to schedule an appointment, and her pricing (assuming we'd get a few photos I liked - read to the end) was very reasonable. We showed up a little early but she was already ready and waiting for us. My shy children were immediately attracted to how kindly and easily she spoke to them. She gave us clear direction on posing, and I was SO THANKFUL for her gentle reminders to adjust the angle of my hip or shoulder or chin. It was such an easy session and I even questioned my memory as we drove away because I was certain it must have been less pleasant than I thought after ALL MY WORRY, haha. Several weeks later, we got an online gallery via email. I clicked the link, PRAYING for just one or two photos I could put on the wall. I actually immediately burst into tears as I scrolled because I loved EVERY SINGLE PHOTO. After so many years with no photos of myself, I've now got several large canvases of my family photos on the wall over the fireplace, and I smile every time I look at them. We've had our second session now and the photos for this one were amazing also. I can't wait to have them printed and mounted on the wall. My husband and I moved to Austin in January 2022 and I was 5 months pregnant already. I wanted a beautiful sunset maternity photoshoot and just tried my luck searching with that keyword on Instagram and voila ! I came across Sawsan's profile ! I fell in love with her pictures and immediately contacted her and she helped me with scheduling and suggested places. As I was new to the city, I could completely trust her after my first interaction. She made me and my husband feel so comfortable and was always cheering me from behind the lens. She was so empathetic and so easy to talk to. I loved every picture from my album and immediately knew she will be the one to click my daughters first photo shoot session. It was brought to my attention however that she (after blocking me) had been posing about me still on her business FB page. I would work with someone who doesn't treat customers like this. She's obviously upset and lied to me about understanding my frustration. Sad because I really thought she was sweet. Stop encouraging women to bully others. She's limited comments on the post so she can keep her narrative. Now she's blocked me and everyone else who's commented about a negative experience. Explains her good reviews on Fb. Added IG posts of her basing me and people who have been blocked for not agreeing with her narrative. The client she acknowledge was lied to. If your innocent stop blocking anyone who has a negative experience anywhere you can and if your so innocent why remove ur reviews from Facebook Sawsan? After having 3 babies and not being able to afford newborn photos with baby number 1 and 2 I decided I would regret not doing it with my 3rd baby now that we could afford it. I made sure I wanted them to be newborn photos but very much include the entire family and Sawsan was great with meeting my requests! She was very patient with my children and the demand of a toddler. She was like a magician getting the baby to sleep or appear to be asleep for his newborn photos. Definitely recommend!
