Shopping: i don't think if you power walked the entire time.If you could honestly get through this place, there is so much to see and so much to do that. You probably need to come back at least once a month. There is true flea market, there is stuff that is being sold at retai, there's all kinds of stuff to purchase and it's not just one thing. One thing I was pleased to see is back in the day things to sell puppies and I think they probably still do, but at least on that trip they were no longer selling a bunch of random dogs. Food so there's a lot of food options here, I would say I didn't find a single thing that I would consider very affordable but everything from sweets to full meals. Things to see/do: so the cool thing about this place is usually in the back. There is some kind of event that's going on this particular time we went the art car event or something was happening. It was really cool it was like we were seeing a museum thing for free. Despite living in houston for a long time, I've always wanted to see the art cars and never have been able to so this was a real treat for me. In summary, I definitely think this is a fantastic place. If you can honestly I would probably leave small children at home. However, I did see lots of families there that were managing just fine.I just particularly, would not do this to myself. As a mom lol.

On top of that my boyfriend stepped on the biggest pile of poop I've ever seen when it clearly states no dogs before you walk in (I saw at least 5). Watch your step if you plan to come here. I'm not sure why there's a brick and mortar Subway (amongst some other restaurants) in the middle of the place either. I could be wrong but isn't this place about small businesses? Another thing I noticed is the amount of drop ship items available ready for purchase at every stand. It's the same labubu dubai chocolate kpop demon hunter hello kitty stuff over and over and over again. I remember as a kid seeing a lot more variety in the shops. It's probably great to bring your kid here because they have rides and toys but overall I do not think I'll return. Special shout out to the game store Hey Bro!! Video Games cause they hooked it up with Mario Party Jamboree at a great price. Another stand (I cannot remember the name) offered the first Mario party to me for $35 but I was specifically looking for the newest version. One more shout out I have is to an incense store that has hand dipped incense 10 for 1$ all different scents. You can find some cool stuff, I just don't know that it's worth the journey there.

As I walked around the store, I noticed that it was more antique furniture and knick knacks. There were two booths dedicated to vintage glass. In the store front window to the right was some peach luster, avon glass, stretched vases and towards the back near the cashier station was a rather large booth that was fully lit. I looked in the lit booth where none of the price tags were showing, but it was a huge collection of Fenton Glass and some of it was carnival. As I was about to leave the store, I thought maybe to ask one of the vendors about prices and to be shown pieces. I asked one vendor who was sitting out front drinking a coffee and reading a magazine. He gladly assisted me. I asked to see the stretched opalescent glass vase as I was keen to find out the maker. He encouraged that I ask the owner who was the cashier. I walked up to her with the piece and said, "Hi" could you remind me whose the maker on this beautiful piece?" The owner gave me the biggest attitude and was being condescending towards me. She said, "and you don't know who makes this?!" I told her that I had forgotten. She said, "well obviously this is Fenton" and proceeded to look it up on Google. She goes on to mention Fenton is an American brand. She was not only ugly towards me, but her and the other vendor was prejudiced to think just because I forgot the maker on that piece that I was completely clueless on all vintage glass. The owner convinced me to buy the piece, but after dealing with her snobby attitude I decided not. Before I left, I asked the vendor guy to show me this fenton carnival glass cat and carnival glass fairy lamp. I mentioned to the guy that the cat was carnival glass, the guy tells me, "uhhh, no I don't think so because this vendor gets her inventory from China and it's iridescent glass". So then I ask him to show me the fairy lamp which I told him, it's carnival fairy lamp. He picks up the piece looks at the nametag and turns to me to say, "ohh you really do know what you're talking about because the name plate said exactly what you mentioned." I just left the store because the experience was terrible. Awful owner who has superiority complex. Lack of friendliness.
