Just the best. When you come in they just hand you your RX. They don't have to input 400 characters into the computer. You can bring a new RX in here and be out quicker than if you are just picking up at CVS. I have a DR at 222 Bloomingdale Rd. I would say it is under a half mile away. My Dr there emailed my RX to Saxon at the end of my appointment and i drove directly there. When i walked in, it was READY-Not "finishing it up" totally ready! read more

The best pharmacy you will find. They have better "generics" than the big chain pharmacies, and being family owned they actually CARE about their customers. Passport photos, drivers' license eye exams, compounding of unique prescriptions, and more. They just don't have many pharmacies like this anymore. Highly recommend. read more

After dealing with nightmare pharmacy chains at CVS and Walgreens, where you are treated like a cog in a wheel, long-wait times, and poor customer service, it's so nice to have to deal with a Mom and Pop pharmacy chain. The owner mr. Modi is extremely professional and helpful to all your Rx needs. He gives advise and updates on all the things that are happening in the constantly changing health care industry, and actually cares about your well being. Need a prescription filled? These folks are the least likely to screw it up around here. They also have a limited selection of OTC meds and things like shampoo, and they sell other health care equipment that you might not be able to find at either of the two CVS stores down the block. They don't exactly bend over backwards to help you, but they do give you better customer service than the big chain pharmacies, in my experience. read more

This is a great pharmacy, and I wish other types of businesses were so thoughtfully, efficiently, caringly organized. They fill our prescriptions promptly, plus they have them delivered promptly, which has been especially important during the pandemic. Plus, they carry a full range of personal essentials and over-the-counter medications. Today, I needed an eye test to renew my driver's license--yes, they do eye tests, and they were totally familiar with the online DMV process. No matter how many times I try to get the staff to smile...to be sure to thank them...to be friendly, I can't seem to get them to reciprocate. I go to a love pharmacy rather than a CVS or Walgreen, because I believe in supporting neighborhood businesses and because I like having relationships with my community, my neighbors. Having grown up in White Plains, this has always been one of the things I appreciate...keeping the small town feeling in a growing city. Unfortunately, the folks at Saxon Pharmacy don't seem to care about this at all. Well, ok...their right but being friendly, a smile, would be nice. The perfect balance between a local small business, but one that's NOT stuck 20 years in the past. I've gotten text updates from them, a digital phone-refill service, home/business deliveries, but most importantly they'll look out for you when it comes to insurance issues or providers failing to put a script in--that's why I'm putting this review. I've had terrible experiences when I was at Graduate school, etc and had to go to one of the big chains. There ALWAYS seemed to be a new issue; so when I moved back to Westchester Country, I went to get my prescriptions from where my parents and grandmother got them. I NEVER have to come in and they have no idea what I'm talking about or who I am. At the chain pharmacy, I hated wasting time reexplaining what I talked over the phone with a person from the morning shift who said they'd have a prescription ready for me later in the day. It was a flip a coin when dealing with employees in those major pharmacies and ended up getting anxious, "did he tell the afternoon pharmacist or did he just forget the second he hung up the phone?" I used to have problems getting the SAME monthly prescriptions, until I finally switched to Saxon; I'm not even talking about non-covered meds or controlled medications--just standard meds. If you're sick of hearing things like 'the difference between the pharmacy policy and what you were told by the provider/insurance company' or have developed a phobic case of 'what is going to wrong this time?' then switching to Saxon Pharmacy is the cure. Oh, and they accept OTC Cards from you're insurance. read more

This is a lovely family owned pharmacy. They have exceptional customer service. For regular customers, they greet you by your name when you walk in. They have home deliveries several times per day except Sunday. They will call your doctor if necessary, and basically do everything in their power to get you what you need. read more

I love Saxon Pharmacy. Several years ago I used them to fill a prescription for a medication that no other pharmacy in White Plains had in stock. Over time as I saw what great customer service they have, I switched over to them for all of my family's prescriptions. This is a place where the pharmacist greets you by name, where they have your medication in hand ready for you to pay for before you even reach the counter, where they order a medication in advance for you so you don't have to go in once to drop off the prescription and then again to pick it up. Saves me a lot of time, I trust them, and I can tell they appreciate my business. read more

Excellent, neighborhood pharmacy/drug store. It thrives 3 stores down from a chain pharmacy because of the personal service, and they carry odd items the chain stores won't. They know what their neighbors are going to need, so the weird items are in stock. They also have notary service, which is always hard to find when you need one quick. The lady that works there asks you if you need help within seconds of walking into the store and takes you right to what you were looking for. It's a good place to support.
