Feeling lazy today, I didn't feel like finding a Staples store so I did the next best thing. I went into Walgreens to buy printer paper. Walgreens has just about everything you might want or need. Walgreens was a life saver for me today. Strategically located in this shopping center where I came to get food, I was able to kill two birds without one stone, metaphorically! I found this particular Walgreens store to be spotless and neat, while providing very wide aisles. A herd of elephants can fit through these aisles, with no hesitation. The person at the register was kind and greeted me when I entered but failed to provide exemplary customer service by not asking me to input my number. I could have lost $3 in savings on this trip. Since I was the one to initiate me putting my number, I was able to save money with a healthy bit of change. I'm always inspired to save and cut costs. Walgreen came through for me today! It's a Walgreens to me all about the same. I found what I was there for easily and was in and out. But like most Walgreens I visit they were understaffed and only 1 cashier for several checking out and like most this one didn't offer self checkout! The cashier was a pleasant gent though so I appreciated that for sure! Seem rather organized and clean compared to others I've shopped at. read more

We had ordered something online (which was a good deal) for pickup and when we arrived and asked, an employee said that actually that item was discontinued and was not able to be purchased. So why were we able to order it? And they also should have emailed us with updates but didn't get anything. It was a waste of time and didn't seem ethical, though the employee was very helpful. The actual store seemed ok in terms of selection and cleanliness and like any other Walgreens (never had a great experience at this chain overall). They have parking and are next to a few other stores (a vegan restaurant Grass Roots, nail shop etc). It's also pretty close (.3 miles) to the metro north train station. read more

Great little Walgreens that was surprisingly open late. I was in town overnight, and realized that I forgot my charger. I searched on Yelp and found this Walgreens, made sure to call before I left my hotel, and the customer service agent not only confirmed the hours of operation, but also told me that he would put the charger to the side for me. I was in & out of the store in less than 1 minute. And I especially love that I get mobile receipts, so all I did was leave with my purchase of red hots and an iphone charger! read more

Definitely do not use this location, pharmacy people all young laughing and joking no customers.I had. 4 pm appointment but came at 3pm due to the weather getting bad, they refused to take me early even though no one was there and were very rude. I will no longer spend a dime at Walgreens Tarrytown from now on I will use CVS. read more

Ordered recuse inhaler on-line, pick-up in store. Website dropped request. No notification of same. Called store. Staff said "out-of-stock" and can not determine when it will be available. Emphasized that it was a rescue inhaler, no extra effort in getting product, could not explain why website dropped the request. Called CVS and they had product. I'm done using Walgreens Pharmacy and web access. Between the two its a lose/lose situation. PS - when using Walgreens "Contact us" form would not submit. tried on 2 browsers, still no good. Website is not fully functional. Hence the feedback here. read more

after visiting a friend nearby i made a quick pit stop at walgreens in tarrytown before heading to white plains and overall its a basic decent walgreens. large free parking lot that shares space with other shops and its safe and well lite. inside walgreens its the typical walgreens stuff and pharmacy is closed which is ok cause i dont need anything thing from pharmacy dept. picked up the important items like ice cream , diet pepsi , paper towels , lactose free milk and frosted flakes cereal, ok maybe the paper towels is the only important item on my list but i will still enjoy the other goodies much more . no one excluding the walgreens staff is here as i get rung up by the nice lady and 24 bucks later its time to hit the road . read more

I had a similar experience to another reviewer- they dropped my son's prescription with no explanation. I called my son's physician twice- on their end the prescription was sent. They refused to give me a pill or two to hold him over and also said that even if the doctor sent over the prescription right now it would take them two hours to fill it. (WHY?) They randomly closed a few days prior for no reason so I couldn't pick it up then. I went to another location the following day that was closed. And of course it's an emergency and they can't fill the prescription. I went to cvs and it was filled immediately. Never going here again. The manager Lisa was extremely unpleasant and unwilling to help. read more

I come in here almost everyday after work and there is rarely ever a line..when there is, at least 2 other cashiers open up to help. The only thing that I come in here for is cigarettes after work...I get my cup of coffee next door first then my pack of cigarettes and off to my long drive to Queens. This location is very convenient simply because there is plenty of parking in the parking lot as well as numerous stores to visit. Not only is the location convenient but the hours are as well (24/7). There is a lot of around the clock work going on building the new Tappan Zee bridge which is where I work so these hours and the parking lot convenience is a great relief for everyone looking for last minute things before or after work. The staff is here is nice but one in particular who I see often is definitely the friendliest person there and her name is Emma. Her tone is always sooo jolly...she makes you feel like family. read more

I choose to go to this Walgreens because it's close. However I might start going to the new CVS for various reasons: 1. There is always a line and one register open. They need to staff accordingly. Sometimes the line is 6 people back. 2. The debit/credit wasn't working the other day and the employee with glasses told me that "we can try your card and see if the credit works but it doesn't work." Please tell me why I would try that? So I had to use the ATM in the store that charges a $3 fee!! read more

This shop pretends processing films. Actually this shop, I mean these people, mess up films. They messed up a BW film of 36 pictures. They said they are professional, there are some "certificate" hang on the wall. They shouldn't do processing if they don't know how to do it. Elderly cashier is quite slow and the line always backs up. Once the line becomes 6-7 people long someone will come and open another register. Besides that the employees are helpful and friendly. read more

The best place when you need almost anything at anytime... Yes at times the register can be slow or the lines a bit long but it's open 24 hrs a day... It's not the on list of places to visit when in the area... But if you need something you'll be almost sure to find what you need. read more
