Staff and everyone is very nice. They took very good and amazing care of my sweet baby. A little pricey, but anything to save my baby girl.

Appointments are changed -- including appointment times and assigned groomers -- without proactive communication or adequate notice to customers. Follow-up commitments are not honored, and communication throughout the process is inconsistent and unprofessional. A business providing customer services should prioritize clear communication, reliability, and accountability. Unfortunately, this company falls short in those areas. The groomers deserve recognition for their work, but the overall customer experience is negatively impacted by poor management and lack of dependable communication.

Our recent groomer unfortunately moved away so we were stuck trying to find another compassionate,…read moresweet, and reliable person. So happy my neighbor mentioned this mobile grooming business. Marissa came highly recommended and I was easily able to make an online appointment with her the same week! Once I filled out some basic online info regarding my dog and signed a consent, all communication was confirmed through texts and email. Loved and appreciated the reminders regarding the appointment. Marissa arrived promptly within the time slot chosen. Our dog, Kahlua, spent a little over an hour in the mobile van getting groomed. After he was done, he looked like an entirely different dog! Of course in a very good way, he was one hot mess prior and we had nicknamed him fur bomb lol The grooming included bath, dry, cut, ear/eye cleaning , nail trim, and external anal gland expression. Afterwards, he smelled fabulous too! She spritzed him with a bit of some good smelling stuff. Marissa was super sweet, friendly, answered all our questions, and had a wonderful demeanor with Kahlua. You can tell she really cares about what she does. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Military discount was offered and tips are preferred in cash or Venmo.

It is a natural theme park full of fun for all dog ages that…read morefocuses on community and getting along with an extremely wide range of guests and dogs that have been rescued and are awaiting their new loving owner to adopt some of them. Dogs always know when they've been saved from a Kennel environment and brought into a HOME as a new welcome to the entire family as a furry family member. They are not just man's best friend. They are everyone's best friend even with all sorts of breeds of dogs and humans. If I were a dog and needed boarding, I highly recommend The Russell Inn if your dog loves nature walks, community living and get togethers for play time, and live in a much more open-environment than a standard concrete room and occasional 15 minute potty breaks. This place promotes healthy exercise which is great for the mental, physical, and fat burning that dogs should be getting at all kennels. There is not another "kennel" like this one. Nothing compares to the quality of attention, affection, music therapy, and a sense of indoor and outdoor living throughout the day. When Brooke shows up, my mother's dog does not care about anything except for getting inside Brooke's vehicle. Her dog is purely focused on going back to The Russell Inn ASAP when he hears Brooke's Kia pull up to the house. He acts like an 8 year old boy doing to Disney World for Dogs as soon as he sees Brooke in person when she goes out of her way to pick up and to drop off customer's dogs. And the best part of a dog that has been exercising a lot and having fun will come home and be worn out and very relaxed for almost a full week. Dogs have to unleash their anxiety too, and The Russell Inn is the perfect environment for some holistic naturopathy healing and self-reflection for all dogs there plus all of the new friends they make for a lifetime and see often especially for loyal clients during holidays. Make sure for holidays that you book your pet in advance as The Russell Inn can sell out of room quickly for major holidays that encourage air travel and vacations. If your dog is not a dog-person, then this is not the place to book your dog. It's about a dog filled community of friendship and mutual respect, a world humans wished they could also live in with other humans. Never know how a "kennel" experience is unless you try a new place. The owner even wrote a book on dogs. If you want your dog to get love and attention, the owner has decades of experience doing exactly that for all that live there, for those that need homes, and for her client's boarding their dog or multiple dogs. There is also a time when no visitors are welcome in the middle of the day, so that the pack of all dogs can have Siesta or Nap Time or "Me Time". Visitors during off-hours can wake up the entire "kennel", so please respect the hours and just visit by text or phone call with the owner, the Patron Saint of Animal Welfare & Rescue. Your dog is your life. Any dogs with her are immediately part of her home and her life too. It's a very warm and welcoming place to let your dog be on vacation while you are off on your own vacation. The owner is an incredible dog whisperer. She even gets same day leftovers from a barbecue place nearby and makes homemade meals. It's not your typical dog kennel by any definition. Dogs are her life just like for you. Visit sometime. Ask when the next nature walk with the kennel is going to happen and join Brooke on the nature walk and ball throwing activity! It's very entertaining to watch them. We love watching our dogs; don't we? Only people who love dogs truly understand what I just said. They are off-leash (they form their own packs, being dogs), get home- cooked meals, can go on numerous walks/swims a day ( or snooze in the kennels, if they prefer) & are carefully watched over. All of my dogs are excited to go there--& they sleep soundly after they come home after all the doggie spa treatment. Brooke loves dogs & takes a personal interest in all of them. I'd give The Russell Inn 10 stars, if I could!
