My experience with Saylor Physical Therapy has been extremely troubling, and I want others to be aware of what happened. The clinic collected $420 in copays from me for six visits that were denied by my health insurance because Saylor did not obtain the required preauthorization. BCBS explained that when a denial is caused by a provider's administrative error, the patient is not responsible for any charges or copays. My Explanation of Benefits statements confirm that I am responsible for $0 for these visits. Despite this, the clinic kept the money. I spoke with their office manager and explained the situation. She refused to refund the copays because she was adamant the clinic would be paid for those visits. I explained that even though BCBS refused to pay, they would still receive payment from Geico for those visits since it was a personal injury claim. She still refused to refund the copays but said they would be refunded if they received payment from insurance. Later, Saylor Physical Therapy accepted payment in full from Geico for all six denied visits and still did not return my money. They have ignored every voicemail and email I've sent since then. There was also a seventh visit where they took my $70 copay, received payment from BCBS, and then accepted another payment in full from Geico for the same date of service. According to the information I received, they told Geico the visit had not been paid, even though BCBS had already paid the claim months earlier. They kept all three payments. This does not feel like a simple oversight -- it reflects a pattern of billing behavior that no patient should have to deal with. In total, Saylor Physical Therapy owes me $490 that I believe should be refunded, and they have refused to communicate or correct the issue. I have been left with no choice but to turn to the NC Department of Insurance and the NC Attorney General for assistance. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone seeking honest or professional treatment. read more

After going to Saylor PT off and on for 11 years, I received a $60.00 no show bill for an appointment I had cancellled. The bill came 6 months after the alleged missed appointment. I was out of state when they say I missed the appointment. They say I have no alternative but to pay the bill and there is no one higher than the secretary that I can speak with. This is garbage but I'll keep fighting. read more

I received the best physical therapy experience I've ever had while going to Saylor Physical Therapy Mooresville! I have scoliosis and for years have had excruciating pain. Could not stand to cook or do other things very long. Definitely could not lift without "paying for it later." After my therapy with Brandon, Ty and Kayla I am almost completely pain free. Can now cook for hours, work in the yard, lift heavy things and even have been able to start an exercise program at the gym. Such a better quality of life! The therapists here are educated annd experienced. And they don't give a cookie cutter set of exercises or remedies. They took a lot of time to listen to me and tailor a program just for my specific issues. Very happy with the results. Also, they are all super friendly. Shout out to Eden as well. I have had physical therapy over the last several years at some well-know places in the area, I have to say my experience at Saylor Physical Therapy has been the best! The staff is professional and friendly. My Physical Therapist, Madison is very knowledgeable and has taken the time to explain the physical aspect of each exercise. She has gone above and beyond any physical therapist that I have had, and has prepared me with the tools to continue my physical therapy at home. I was pleasantly surprised at Saylor that patients have one-one time with the physical therapist, and for a full hour! Six weeks ago I broke my tibia spine, sprained my ankle and tore my ACL due to a freak accident. My doctor suggested I do physical​ therapy before proceeding​ with surgery. I really didn't know what to expect, however,​ I had Laurice as my therapist and within a week I could tell I was improving very swiftly. She worked with me and gave me exercises to do at home and today 6 weeks later, I am walking again and able to do things that I thought that I couldn't​ do unless I had surgery. I'm still hoping that I won't have to have surgery, but if I do and have to go to therapy again, I will be requesting Laurice. She is really kind and compassionate toward you and cares about your wellbeing. The whole facility is wonderful. read more

I can't say enough about my experience with Saylor Physical Therapy. They make you feel so comfortable and at ease from the receptionist to the therapist. I was discharged today after going for eight weeks and when I started I couldn't imagine they could do much for me. I had been in pain with my shoulder for seven years and my hip for one. I have been a patient of Saylor for 2 knee replacements and 2 hip replacements over the past 3 years. In my opinion the therapy is the reason I am healthier and in better physical condition at faster rate than I could have imagined. This year I both hips replaced and thanks to Lauren the recovery was a breeze. Lauren was very engaged in getting me back to strength and stronger than I was before surgery. I was referred to Saylor Physical Therapy in Sept. Of '15 for a foot injury. I had been in a wheelchair for a few months and had to strengthen my ankle and foot. This is the best company. This is the first physical therapy place I looked forward going to. My therapist was fantastic. My first day there I was in a great deal of pain and she did what she needed to get to start my therapy. She was gentle when it was in pain but as I got better she pushed me when I needed it and let me rest if I needed it. I went from a wheelchair, to a walker, and to a cane. The customer service is the best I've ever had. When or if I need physical therapy again I will use them again! Thanks for such a great experience. read more
