A blintz at Romeo's is a cholesterol injection of sweet cheese and raisins wrapped in a crape with your choice of either cream or ice cream or both and some fruit. The blintzes by all means is not the only reason to come here, the food is amazing and you get very large portions, defiantly what you pay for. Always lovely staff and speedy service this is one of my favourite places to dine.

The upper level was near the bar and the lower level (lower than street level) was at the window. There was also another area as you walked in where you could have pizza by the slice and a drink and stand right next to the DJ. The pizzas were excellent. The dough was interesting as it was thin in the middle with a chewy crust. We did make pigs of ourselves and had three pizzas between two of us. They were just so nice.

Since we've moved to the Paris end recently, we've been exploring some of our options for breakfast in this part of town - so far two establishments have caught our eye (and mouths): Sempre and The Mess Hall....I'll do a review of the latter later. I don't know what the relationship is between the two restaurants, but, they are right next door to one another and the staff tends to wander back and forth. Indeed, meals seem to come from the kitchen in The Mess Hall for Sempre. This was our first visit and it was spectacular. The cappuccino was perfect (would you expect anything less from an Italian restaurant?) - and the breakfasts themselves, WOW. I went with the Italian sausage in red sauce with, erm, I forget the type of cheese...it was incredible. The sauce was one of the best I've had and my wife (who comes from a half-Italian family) was also extremely impressed. My wife went for the ricotta pancakes which, I must say, were a very close second for my choice. She loved them, and the hint of citrus (orange zest?) which was contained within was a real hit. There were a lot of "mmmmmmm!" sounds from our table. Another favourite of mine at Sempre (and Mess Hall) is their Chai Latte. Probably the very best I've had in Melbourne. We've not visited for lunch/dinner, so we can't comment on those meals, but for a Sunday morning breakfast we were impressed and are most definitely going to be visiting again!

They are happy to vary their pizzas to suit you which is great for us as we prefer no cheese on our pizzas.
